CLEARWATER - Michael Schiavo has asked a court to waive the two-year statute of limitations on filing a medical malpractice lawsuit against one or more of his deceased wife's caregivers.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died March 31 after her feeding tube was removed after a seven-year court battle.
Schiavo's attorney in this case, Mark Perenich, said he was not able to discuss the proposed lawsuit behind Tuesday's request for an extension of the two-year statute of limitations.
By law, medical malpractice lawsuits must be filed within two years of the alleged misconduct unless an extension is granted.
In October 2003, Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed on court order. Doctors reinserted it on orders from Gov. Jeb Bush.
Are you implying that God's Nemesis [the devil] is using Hildy?Who is using Hildy on this issue?
Oh please! I've lowered my IQ as far as it will go. See if Hildy can explain it in terms you'll understand.
When I asked you to clarify a previous comment, you answered that you cannot lower your IQ to explain yourself, implying that only low-IQ people are unable to understand your wise cracks.
Then you end up with see I'm going to have to lower my IQ more than I realized.
I doubt that God is using you with your nasty disposition. You seem to mirror the works of the flesh, not the fruits of the Spirit.
I, of course, may have my own personal thoughts regarding hildy, and others who post as she has and does, but as I didn't make those specific comments, you will have to wait until Bykrbayb responds.
I already explained it to in the simplest terms I could find. You persist in accusing me bringing Satan into this, when you are the one who brought him up. I don't know how can make it any simpler for you. I really don't.
I disagree. God used Peter, even though his anger and "impertinence" caused him to slice off a Roman soldier's ear...even though he later denied Christ three times. God takes us as we are and tries to help us be more like Him; He begins in one area of a person, that He deems most important first within that person, and never stops or gives up. It's called unconditional love, despite our imperfections.
What about letting St Peter speak himself?
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.Peter advocated giving answers with gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3:15
Then, you deny that Peter was impulsive, that he cut off a Roman Soldier's ear, that he denied Christ 3 times, and that, despite these negatives about his personality and behavior, God still loved him and used him?
If we were to be perfect before God could/would love us or use us, then why was Jesus sent? His crucifixion was, then, useless and unnecessary. If we were to be perfect after Jesus died on the cross, then why did He send the Holy Spirit....that was another useless act by the Almight?
If Peter had nothing wrong about his behavior and thoughts after becoming a Christian, after Christ was put to the cross, then why did Paul have to admonish Peter about "unclean" food and his hypocrisy in not associating with Gentiles? (Galations 2)
BTW, God said "Thou Shall Not Kill"
I'll answer that. Anyone who is advocating murder is being used of satan, yes. Who else advocates murder?
And of course, one of the fruits of the spirit is advocating the dehydration of a woman who wouldnt' have died otherwise.
Bah.
As I said, it is for God to convict each of us, individually, in which ways He has deemed should be changed first.
As I said, God uses those who believe in Him to do His work; we need not first be perfect in every area as a requirement to do His work...point to the Scriptures where it says otherwise.
As I said, Peter displayed quite unChristlike behaviors, both in his heart and in his actions, after believing in Him. Nevertheless, God used Peter, despite his imperfections.
As I said, God said, Thou Shall Not Kill; would you not agree that being in favor of murder is of greater concern than whether or not someone speaks with gentleness?
Did not Jesus speak, quite ungently, to those making a profit in His Father's House? Was His anger and tone, therefore, contrary to the fruits of the Spirit or a showcase in the works of the flesh?
Perhaps one should question the hearts of those who align themselves with evil deeds (i.e., supporting murder) rather than those who speak in a way that cause hurtful feelings to murderers and their/his supporters.
St Peter and Jesus never used unnecessary personal attacks. St. Peter advocated giving answers with gentleness and respect. That's the difference between displaying the fruits of the Spirit and showcasing the works of the flesh.
Btw, I'm not going to keep beating a dead horse. If you want to keep condoning unnecessary personal attacks while claiming that God sides with those uttering cheap shots, that's your prerogative.
Well if you really feel that way, maybe you should stop using personal attacks disguised as questions to accuse people of saying things they haven't said.
The dead horse is this, which you DO keep beating:
MS murdered Terri. hildy, and those like her, have sided with MS, claiming he had a "right" to do so. That is defending an EVIL DEED.
Bykrbayb's, or any other's person's frustration with hildy, and those like you, who refuse to have an honest dialogue about murder being EVIL, create an atmosphere where there will surely be frustration, anger, and unkind remarks.
That you choose to defend evil deeds, or those who believe one has the 'right' to murder innocent, disabled people, especially via starvation and dehydration, and, instead, CAST STONES AT THOSE WHO DON'T SPEAK NICELY as the ones not being ungodly, leads to further scoffing of your comments.
