Overwhelmingly, pro-lifers condemn violence against abortionists and their co-workers. However, it doesn't appear that feeling is mutual at Planned Parenthood Golden Gate (PPGG), who have posted an animated video that displays gross acts of brutality against those who wish to advance the messages of life and abstinence. In addition to its violence, the video also extends its own degree of tastelessness and disrespect. [Note: Due to some unfavorable attention, the video was removed from PPGG's site this afternoon (Tue. Aug. 9, 2005).]
In the span of a few minutes, the Planned Parenthood video displays the following:
... A female "superhero for choice," named Dionysus, tells a strange-looking proponent of abstinence, "The only truth here is you're ugly, and your momma dresses you funny." The superhero then drowns the man by stuffing him upside down in a trash can full of liquid. "It looks like it's time to take out the trash," the superhero adds.
... Pro-life picketers are portrayed as very ugly looking, one of whom has awful green skin and yellow eyes. ... The superhero observes pro-life protesters (she calls them "anti-choice demonstrators") and remarks, "Mostly I wish they would just disappear." She then zaps them with a gun which covers each of the protesters with a giant condom. After a moment, each of them explodes, killing them.
... In a scene in Washington DC, the Washington Monument is completely enveloped with a giant condom (!).
... A pro-life senator is dumped in boiling green liquid and ...

Then again, we are quickly becoming the mainstream. Perhaps we ought call them FRINGE MEDIA instead.
The face of today's left, and a large part of the democrat party. Not a pretty sight.
I think you're on to something...!
And getting results too, since the video has been removed. Who cares about the old MSM?!:)
Special Report's Grapevine will probably report on it.
It's amazing how politically incompetent these people are when the can't control the criticism, isn't it? It's no wonder the only people they can successfully co-opt are children, at least in the functional sense.
those old films were designed for social engineering as are the left's modern versions.
Perhaps one day such shorts will be showns in schools (togwether with 2004 Movwon.org campaign ad contest etnries) along side of Triumph of the Will and The Eternal Jew as examples of horrific propaganda.
Teach the children well. Do NOT let the Left supress the record of their own propaganda.
Is anyone running a historical/educational web inventory of these shorts? They could be included there without any copyright violation (as if the ads were ever copyrighted in the first place) as educational materials.
I've seen the video after it got discussed on the local mid-day christian conservative's talk show. It's really unbelievable in its tastelessness. I'm sure it's meant to be irreverent and appear to the "rebel" streak of teenagers to get its message across. However, this video is not a civil way to address these topics.
Well what can one expect from a bunch of baby killers in the communist republic of California?
Did anyone get a copy?
By the time I heard about it it was too late.
Today on his radio show, Michael Savage played an audio clip from this disgusting PSA. Believe me it sounds even more heinous and vicious than the script would read!
These people simply need to die - soon - of natural causes, en masse!
A.A.C.
"Baby murderers really suction!"
Not even close to 'pretty'. . .and the levels of their ill-sourced, creative degradation; show there is no 'bottom' in sight.
These people are pathetic.
You can check out the Prelinger Archives at www.archive.org/ . One of the newest entries is a WWII film justifying the internment of Japanese-Americans.
I want to see the latest hate propaganda coming out archived.
There is some preservation of old television campaign ads but the DNC and MoveOn did a lot of web-based flash advertising last campaign as well. Under the radar.
