Let's rate the FOX "All STARS"..the best and worst of the panel..who would YOU "vote off the show??"
one man's opinion.......

Posted on 08/09/2005 1:48:11 PM PDT by ken5050

Many here are regular viewers of Brit Hume's show nightly on Fox, as well as the Sunday Fox talking head show. A regular feature of BOTH shows is the Panel..so, I was wondering, who's your favorite, and if you could, who'd you like see disappear?

OK..here's list of those who appear ( though some more often than others) on the Panel segment:

NOTE: Brit Hume often sits in on the Sunday show, and the looks he gives Juan Williams ALONE are worth watching the entire hour just to see them..but because Brit hosts the weekday show..I'm choosing to exclude him from this list for discussion purposes....

Fred Barnes...passionate, always positive

Mort Kondrake..a "good" lib...but he should take the Dale Carnegie course in public speaking..

Mara Liasson..she coughs a lot, and gives "vapid" a whole new context

Juan Williams....like a stopped watch, he's correct about twice a month about something..could anyone really be that dumb? Affirmative action at work, or the Peter Principle, or heaven help us, BOTH?

Charles Krauthammer..brilliant mind..he deserves his own show..

Jeff Birnbaum..he can't speak more than one coherent sentence...he should stick to writing..

Bill Sammon..."Stretch" ( as W. calls him) is definitely ready for prime time.. I'd like to see more of him on the air..

Ceci Connelly....getting lots more air time of late..WHY???

Nina Easton..by far the best looking female panelist..surprising me of late with many common sense comments...maybe she's trying for a new contract?

I believe I got them all, but if I missed anyone...I'm sure you'll let me know..

Remember, we know that FOX staffers are always doing show prep and research on FR....?

Krauthammer is probably the only one I would keep.

It would be Juan "Wha--?" Williams, but on O'Reilly the other night he was actually lucid and RIGHT ON about Bellefonte, Dick Gregory, et al...

I watch when I find Krauthammer on. The only one with the insight and intelligence to actually make me think of the news items in a different way.

I could listen to his explanation of larva infestation and be interested. And what a diverse background this guy brings to any subject.

Two should be replaced with Kiran Chetry and Juliet Huddy.

They have to have a mix, so it probably doesn't make much difference who is on. We are lucky they don't have the likes of Begala, Carville, Margaret Carlson, and Al Hunt (all completely unwatchable), and a skewed panel (three super libbies and one weak, fake "conservative").

Brit Hume and Krauthammer are the best. Krauthammer should get his own show.

Juan....GONE!!!

I have to respect Mort, as not many men would have cared for his late life like he did.

I think Fox needs new blood. If I watch Fox and then get in my car and turn on the radio, I'm amazed at how much better and more interesting the talent is on talk radio.

I'd keep Fred and Mort and Bill Krystal (if that's spelled correctly, who wasn't on your list but I think should have been) and give the rest the heave-ho.

I'd give Charles Krauthammer his own show, too.

I don't know who they are. I would like to see Mark Steyn or maybe James Tarranto. Plus someone with a real, Cato style libertarian slant.
