Many here are regular viewers of Brit Hume's show nightly on Fox, as well as the Sunday Fox talking head show. A regular feature of BOTH shows is the Panel..so, I was wondering, who's your favorite, and if you could, who'd you like see disappear?
If a conservative slot opens up, I would vote for Kate O'Beirne. She was great on the Cap Gang and since it is cancelled, she is available...
I love Dr. K, loathe Kristol, who is usually wrong in his predictions. It was a hoot when he kept insisting that Cheney would not be on the ticket, even the week of the Republican Convention last year.
It did give me pause last Sunday though. Dr. K. predicts that Roberts will be more of a Kennedy or O'Connor justice while Kristol keeps insisting he will be a Rehnquist. I hope, in this case, that K. will be rarely wrong and Kristol, rarely right.
I remember Martha when she was on CNBC during the days of the internet stock bubble. With her background covering the market, I'm surprised that Fox doesn't use her in that capacity more.
And if somebody at FNC is reading this thread, Novak would be a great panelist; unless he's got contractual obligations at CNN that he can't get out of.
Listen and enjoy!
Al Gore's smarter than Juan Williams..
Ceci and Juan, begone.
I agree about Katie O'Beirne. She'd be a terrific choice.
kind of says it all..
"you and I are really on the same page..scary....were we perchance separated at birth...?"
Here's the tie-breaker...I like Bill Kristol. Seems a lot of folks here don't.
As long as Charles Krauthammer is on the panel, I'm a happy camper. Mara Liasson and Cici Connelly simply, and often incoherently, parrot DNC talking points. They drive me nuts. So much so that when my daughter is upset with me (for being too strict or whatever), she calls me a Cici.
Check out this interesting tidbit I ran across this morning:
One of Liassons biggest scoops came during a scheduled interview with Clinton on January 21, 1998. On the morning of the interview allegations surfaced that Clinton had been trying to persuade former White House intern Monica Lewinsky to lie about their alleged affair. The president told Liasson, There wasnt improper relations, I didnt ask anybody to lie, and I intend to cooperate.
Or perhaps this is a failure of natural selection?
You just took the biscuit for Metaphor of the Month!
Me to..though I don't know how I omitted him from my list..he's so cool, and dispassionate..I think that's what turns off some..
Good find....today's BIG question..would you dump CeeCi and/or Mara for Nina Burleigh..she of the " I'd happily give Clinton a BJ if he keeps protecting abortion rights" fame
The stopped watch principle at work.
Possibly, if I thought she'd reveal the name of the divorcee in your neighborhood who Clinton's diddling these days. ;-)
/Not so subtle hint.
