If they asked for my help at the Pirro for Senate Campaign, here would be suggestion No. 1.
=====================================================================
SCENE - Jeanine Pirro's office. She is taking a call.
Pirro: Good morning, may I help you?
Seng: Yes, this is Ng Lap Seng. I would like to contribute to your Senate campaign.
Pirro: That's fine, I'll get you in touch with my campaign finance director. Wait. From where are you calling?
Seng: Macau
Pirro: Macau? Hey, aren't you the international criminal businessman who deals in murder for hire and prostitution and slavery of very young women?
Seng: Why, yes. But what's your problem? That didn't seem to bother you before.
Pirro: What are you talking about?
Seng: When I gave you hundreds of thousands of dollars, made 10 trips to the White House, and posed for pictures with you and your husband. I once sat at your table for dinner.
Pirro: To whom do you think you are speaking?
Seng: I thought I was calling Hillary Clinton. Isn't this Senator Clinton?
Pirro: No, this is District Attorney Jeanine Pirro who goes after scumbags like you. I put guys like you in jail for a long, long time.
Seng: Whoops. Never mind. (click, dialtone)
Narrator: Jeanine Pirro for Senate. She will not take money from people like Ng Lap Seng. She will not allow him to visit her office and get a friendly greeting. She will not pose for pictures with him. She will not sit down with him for dinner. No, Jeanine Pirro will put him in prison where he belongs, just as she has been doing for three decades. Isn't this the person that women and children need fighting for them?
Pirro: I am Jeanine Pirro and I approved of this commercial.
I heard her on Tony Snow, She is AMAZING! and Hot! I will be giving money to her for sure.
Because they are gutless and inept. They have been useful idiots for the socialists who have taken over the democrat party.
To this day they don't have the courage to call them socialists.
Read my tagline. - Tom
Considering that to win she needs the endorsement of the state's Conservative Party, of which its chairman, Michael Long, told Pirro she had a better chance of winning running for attorney general, I pretty much doubt Jeanine Pirro would even win the primary.
Remember that since 1974, no Republican candidate has won a statewide race without the backing of the state's Conservative Party.
I mean, why would anyone vote for a quasi-Liberal when they can get the real thing in Hillary. I much prefer Edward Cox -Nixon's son in law- I don't think he'll have trouble getting the endorsement of the state's Conservative Party.
Ed Cox bio.
I agree that she's not going to win, but I'm not sure Cox stands much of a chance either. I'm speculating that the GOP knows this, and they've put up Pirro for two basic reasons: 1) she's a tough candidate who will pull no punches and can do a lot of damage to Hillary without worrying about being "sensitive" like Rick Lazio was; and 2) she may lose, but she's going to make Hillary look very faded and worn-out in the process. She's only about four years younger than Hillary, but if you look at photos of both of them Hillary looks about 15 years older.
The GOP as far as I'm concerned isn't commenting much.
That's right. And speaking of Pataki... Cox has the backing of Pataki.
Interesting. Do you think this might change in light of Pirro's announcement? I don't think the GOP wants to have a long primary battle in this race.
I don't think so. Let me see if I can get more info.
OK. Don't hurry to do this tonight, though. I've got to get to bed, so I won't be able to check in again until tomorrow anyway.
See you tomorrow, I hope!
Nighty night, AC.
And she is really easy on the eyes, too!
Yes, Jeanine Pirro is a very lovely lady... Yet compared to Her Ankleship, Bender, even you would be deemed a babe!
Son! Bender! So good to see you back!
Bravo! Bravo!
This is what I found:
Throwing an elbow early in the battle for the Republican slot for U.S. Senate, Edward Cox has enlisted the help of a consulting firm associated with President Bush's adviser Karl Rove. Cox is battling Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro for the GOP spotlight in the 2006 race against Democratic Sen. Hillary Clinton. Cox, a lawyer, is a son-in-law of former President Richard Nixon. The firm Cox hired, Olsen and Shuvalov, is an outgrowth of Rove & Company. Todd Olsen was executive vice president of Rove & Company, while Kevin Shuvalov went from the firm to Bush for President in 2000 and later worked for the Republican National Committee.
Cox was hurt this week when, hungry for star power in the GOP firmament, 46 of the state party's 62 county chiefs pressed Pirro to run against Clinton. He's also been battered by the national party's interest in Pirro.
Thomas Basile, a spokesman for Cox's exploratory committee, said the hiring of Rove's old firm was a way of gaining the fund-raising firepower needed to beat Clinton.
He also said Cox has remained in touch with officials at the national level.
"We continue to have discussions, fruitful discussions, with people at the White House and at the Republican National Committee," insisted Basile.
And here is an interesting interview with Michael Long, chairman of the NYS Conservative Party, LINK
Gotta go. Nighty night.
She can beat Hillary.
She's smart, very intelligent, articulate, tough and much better looking than Hillary.
She'll make mince meat out of Hillary in the debates. Just wait and see.
So is hillary's - what's your point?
GREAT CAMPAIGN AD, DOUG,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SEND IT TO HER OFFICE!
Glad to see you back, guys!
