Runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks mowed the lawn of a government building Tuesday as part of her court-ordered community service for lying to police after she ran off days before her scheduled wedding. She's just doing the menial yard work that her imaginary Mexican kidnappers/rapists won't do.

She's just doing the menial yard work that her imaginary Mexican kidnappers/rapists won't do. 11:50 AM and we already have our "Post of the Day" winner.

"I'm doing well," said Wilbanks, who has been undergoing mental health treatment. She admitted with a laugh that it had been a long time since she had mowed a lawn.

Maybe she should engage in more hard work...would perhaps keep her mind off any notions of pulling another stunt like running off and having law enforcement spend tax dollars looking for her.

a swarm of reporters and photographers.Gosh, this must be the sort of assignment reporters and photographers dream about.
Goofy media. Goofy audience.

dammit, we need to pay no attention to her anymore. if we keep this up, she'll have her movie deal in no time. few things make me angrier than seeing someone benefit from a wrongdoing, however much it may be. so to do my part, this will be my last post on this thread. =P

Wilbanks seemed upbeat as she pushed a powered mower by a swarm of reporters and photographers. We are such a funny country.

Now that's funny.
That stupid broad probably has never mowed a lawn before in her life. She ought to be cleaning out outhouses with her bare hands.

I don't know how you people can joke about the runaway bride while Natalee Holloway is still missing.

Jennifer Wilbanks mowed the lawn of a government building, cleaned probation offices, washed public vehicles, picked up trash, cleaned toilets.
All for government buildings?
Aren't the unions pissed? The's taking work away from them!
Shouldn't she be doing those same things for private citizens at their homes? It is after all the citizens who paid for the government services that were used to search for her. .
