We MUST get a grip on all these nonprofits in this country who are leeching off of the American taxpayer. It's OUTRAGEOUS that so many of these groups are allowed to operate with special considerations that regular busineeses do not get. Why, I ask you, why should an entity like "The Carter Foundation" get special tax breaks when it's a mouthpiece for the left. One with half a billion dollars.

Or, take Judicial Watch for example, they have taken in $70+ million dollars over the past few years. As nonprofit! Please! Klayman was paid something like $400K for just part of the last year he "worked" there. Or how about "Consumers Union"? The BUSINESS that publishes Conumer Reports? They are a nonprofit? With $90+ million in assets? Give me a break!

I don't care if you are PETA and want to save chickens from being fried (they do taste good), or want to save the whales or the trees or shake down people like Jesse Jackson does. All I want is for you to operate like a business and PAY TAXES like a business. Unless you are someone like Mother Theresa (rest her soul) and a church or a REAL CHARITY you should not get any special tax breaks or be able to have you postage paid partially by me!

And the same thing goes for people like Hillary Clinton and HillPac! Did you know almost every politician in America has some connection to some special entity that they use to push their own agendas? Well, Hillary Clinton should not be allowed to stick her nose in campaigns she is not running in. Especially as a sitting US Senator. Outfits like HillPac should not be allowed. In fact, no candidate for office should be able to even take money or anything of value unless it comes from someone that is registered to vote for them. Imagine that! How's that for campaign finance reform? If only the people that could vote for John McCain, for example, could contribute to his Sanate campaign maybe the numbnuts would get off the TV and GO HOME! GO HOME and talk to the people that vote for you because they are the only ones you can get money from. And more people would register to vote because they have power. Yep, we need a simple campaign finance law: "Only a person registered to vote for a candidate may donate money to the candidate".

As far as CAIR, like the ACLU and Judicial Watch they are using the courts to push their own political agenda. Which is fine as long as they do it out of their own pockets. I mean entirely out of their own pockets. They should have to pay for every dime expended in our courthouses with their garbage lawsuits. Courthouses that in my opinion they are terrorizing!

(sorry for the rant)

Time to recalibrate on Judicial Watch. They're leading the fight in Herndon VA -- documented very well here on FR -- against day-laborer sites.

There's also an article on the site, "Why Isn't Sandy Berger Going To Jail?"
