A non-vote... or a third-party vote is a de facto vote for missus clinton.
A non-vote... or a third-party vote means another clinton defective will be elected by a plurality.
We will not survive another clinton defective in the Oval Office.
(Indeed, we may still not survive the first one!)By focusing on abortion--a matter that will in fact be mooted by medical science in the near future,
you are necessarily not focusing on the big picture,
which is keeping ALL our children alive, the born and the unborn alike.
- Clearly someone should notify America's founders that they have erred... men are not deserving of self goverment, because clearly self government is nothing more than the aggregation of all our psychic traumas and libidinal confusions.. and look where that has gotten us...one Clinton leaving the white house and one aiming for the US Senate for the State of New York... perhaps the liberals ARE onto something? But no, study the last two Clinton elections carefully... this most shameless and shameful American President is the product of plurality (less than majority) votes obtained through the gile and intrigue of an elitist cabal of intellectually impaired and ethically corrupt media manipulators aligned in effect with the electoral tampering of one man, H. Ross Perot, who although he occasionally gave a good speech was still intelligent enough to know his only role was to twice deny the conservative majority of American voters a first choice for President. And now even as Evita determinedly grasps for the Security Power and Influence of the Senate seat, one sees in her early campaigning the overriding awareness that her only hope is the sowing of confusion and ignorance... the demonization of a long time public servant whose accomplishments are towering, the pandering to the lowest and most depraved and corrupt anti social organizations and figures (no not the mob, the teachers unions and Mr. Sharpton). Arm in arm this body of liberal enthusiasts march forth to assure that America continues to be contaminated and disabled by their control of government into the 21st century... arrogantly and in complete disregard of truth, rationality, or the notion of liberty... they pound at the very gates of freedom, threatening to burn (redefine to mean the opposite of what they say) the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address and replace them with their own Orwellian Banners of "community" "children" "education" "fairness" and all the other focus group tested liberal-illogicisms. But the translation exists and when the alien identifying sunglasses are donned all of their slogans can be seen to read "Be Liberal, Live in Ignorance and Servitude"
-

We all have issues that are important to us.
Some vote with our conscience, and others with their wallets.
I vote with my conscience.
Nothing matters to me unless they are first pro-life.
I'm prepared to be judged on the last day for that.
I truly understand that preventing abuse is a major issue, but completely ignoring a person's stand on abortion and saluting them for preventing abuse is absurd.

I agree.
If one has two choices and one doesn't agree 100% with either, then an intelligent person would choose the better of the two.
Pirro will not be running for president, but Hillary will. Some of the people here should think in long term consequences. If they don't, they will help bring about just what they claim they oppose and betray their own cause.

You miss my point, which is not that the abuse issue trumps all. It is that the war on terror trumps all.
What is being 'pro-life' if it is not doing everything possible to win the war on terror so that all of our children can live?
By not voting, or voting for a third-party, you are putting the proximate cause of the metastasis of al Qaeda and 9/11 right back in the Oval Office.
NOTHING can be more anti-life than that.

"NOTHING can be more anti-life than that."
How about 1.5 million cases of infanticide per year.
Does that come close?

A Pirro win vs. HRC will not change the abortion equation one iota. But it definitely might keep HRC out of the Oval Office. Now, I'm going to exaggerate to make my point here, but what good would enacting pro-life legislation do for infants still in the womb if their mothers are obliterated by al-Quida's explosives?
If you're against abortion, which I've no doubt you are, then how about being against unplanned abortions, those that occur at the hands of terrorists' bombs.
Shouldn't we have equal sorrow at those unborn infants who were murdered at the hands of terrorism?
Let's be pro-life, but let's be pro-life across the table.

From what I have seen and from what I think I know about New York, the ONLY way for Pirro to be viable and have any chance of winning and not hurting us,is for her to win the nomination of the conservative party of New York.If I am not mistaken the CP of New York could run a corpse and get 3%.I believe O'grady got 3% against Schumer,Mills. That is 3% that Pirro has to have to win.If she can't get their nomination then she should step aside, or run a scorched earth campaign against Hillary(which isn't agood idea as it could backfire)I will do more research on it,but I have to tell you I view most blue states as lost causes.I am of the mind to hold our ground and make the red states more conservative.

Mia has used a very apt expression regarding this matter. It was along the lines of not cutting off one's nose to spite their face.
I cannot recall her exact words, I'm sure she'll repeat them for us though.
And G08...Your enthusiasm for Conservatism is much to be admired. But at times you're a bit pessimistic as to spreading it's influence. Never give up on any state.

LOL! I do not think the conservative movement as a whole should give up on any state.I just cant deal with it myself.
I do think Pirro can win.If she runs as a conservative and shuts up on her liberal issue. She needs to pick one conservative theme she agrees with and hammer it home.federalism perhaps.Conservatism always wins.

Wow! You can simply exaggerate 1.5 million deaths to make an argument?
What a stretch.
There is a big difference between what the enemy want to do to us and what we do to ourselves.
