I recently flamed CODE PINK at their site and lo and behold, I'm on their mailing list. Just received this e-mail:

Dear CODEPINK activists in Aurora, Chicago, and the surrounding area,

Bush will be in Aurora, Illinois this Wednesday, 8/11, and CODEPINK would like to organize an emergency rally and vigil in solidarity with the Crawford vigil.

CODEPINK and Military Families Speak Out would like to have a presence everywhere Bush goes, and in order to do that we need a handful of volunteers to create a visual pink presence and field press calls after issuing a press release and organizing the vigil.

Please call on all the CODEPINKers in your area to help.

We know this is short notice but we just got the call to make it happen. Please contact Whitney at whit@codepinkalert.org or at 310.827.3046 (office) or 323.595.9169 to help coordinate an action!
