If were not free to conduct terrorist attacks against Israel and import weaponry we're still 'occupied'. That is the nonsense the PA is spouting today. Of course the U.N. will go along with this previously unheard of definition of occupation.

Obviously, it's just another convenient excuse not to be held accountable for the dastardly actions they are planning.

Makes one wonder what, if anything, the pullout will accomplish. I'm with Netanyahu on this one.

The fact is they aren't lying to their EU brothers.
Who murdered 6,000,000+ Jews in WWII? Arabs? - Nope.
They are collaborators.

It will mean that you won't need more soldiers than settlers to protect tiny Jewish communities surrounded by 1.3 million hostile Arabs. It means if the IAF or IDF has to take action against terrorists they don't have to fear killing Jewish Israelis. It means that Arabs won't become a majority within our own borders at any time in the near future.
I'm with Sharon on this one :)

Israel will control Gaza's borders for the time bing in an effort to keep it from turning into a base for Jihad. Israel will try to keep out weaponry and foreign Jihadists. Other than that the Paleostinians are on their own and should prove to the world they can build something, not just rage against the Jews.

Gaza will be a base for Jihad.
Anyone with a functioning brain should realize that.

Sharon is such a schmuck.

Gaza will be a base for Jihad. Why do you think the new fences are being built? Why aren't the Palestinians able to control their own borders or seas? To prevent just that.

The E.U. and probably the U.S. will demand that the Pals control their borders and have free sea access.
It's a matter of time.
The Egyptian border is porous.
Al Qaeda is probably already there.

It means if the IAF or IDF has to take action against terrorists they don't have to fear killing Jewish Israelis LOL. Is carpet bombing of Gaza on the agenda?
How is Israel going to defend Jerusalem if the IDF can't fight terrorists for fear of killing Israelis?

"It means that Arabs won't become a majority within our own borders at any time in the near future."
-I fail to see the connection at that one. How can the Palestinian Arabs in Gaza impact on the Jewish majority in Israel when they are not Israeli citizens and when 98% of them live under the PA civilian control?
By contrast, there are 1.4 million Israeli Arabs who are full Israeli citizens since 1948. According to birth rate statistics, by 2050 the Arabs would become a majority in Israel since their birth rate is much higher than of the Jews' one.
The pullout simply has nothing to do with the Jewish majority in Israel.
