FReepers, please excuse this vanity post and my quoting anybody who appears on the ridiculous Alex Jones Show. But that Cindy Sheehan thinks the U.S. is immoral and says so during any broadcast is despicable. Her attack on the morality of our country is condemnable, and her observations about terrorism are utterly foolish.
Sheehan also said during another portion of the interview, "You know, um, the terrorists hate us because of our Middle East policies and that's plain and simple. We change our policies to make it more fair for everybody and, um, that's when terrorism is going to stop."
That ignorant and false comment eerily echoed the recent videotape by Osama bin Laden's chief terrorist, Ayman Al Zawahiri. Whose side is Mrs. Sheehan on?

I won't bash this unfortunate woman, who is a gold-star mother.
But the media outlets who are using her grief and loss of control to help attack the President and this country -- they are disgusting. Of course, we already knew that!

What a wonderful thing to do: crap on the memory of your own son, who volunteered to serve.
Way to go, honey...

This isn't about her son who died, so nobody take this the wrong way, but I wish that bitch would just shut her freakin' mouth. I'm tired of listening to her.

I don't want to live in a country like this. I'm truly sorry that she lost her son, but I really have no sympathy for a$$holes that say stupid stuff like this and continue to live here anyway.
Shut up and get out. Move to the Middle East and see how much better it is over there.
Good luck.

So, every U.S. law is immoral? It doesn't take much to spark her irrational flares, does it?

Poor, poor Ms. Sheehan. Forced to live in a country she hates and thinks is immoral.
But FReepers have good hearts. I'm willing to put $50 towards a first class plane ticket for this poor, abused woman to any destination she'd like outside the US. The only stipulation is that she never come back.
Any other FReepers care to make a donation to this worthy cause?

Surely she would prefer to be jailed in some kind and gentle Muslim paradise, rather than in this brutal and immoral country.

SHEEHAN: "I don't want to live in a country like this. And this country is immoral, the laws are immoral, the people who enforce the laws are immoral. And, like Henry David Thoreau said, the only place for a moral person to be is in jail. And I'm ready to go to jail."
IMO she's snapped, she's experiencing a nervous breakdown in the form of lashing out over the loss of her son. She needs sympathy but her grossly displaced agony and anger should be ignored.

So...what's keeping her here?
Why doesn't she move to one of those bastians of free love and harmony like Cuba or North Korea?

Democratic Playbook rule of thumb #5 - when in doubt get more shrill. This basic rule guarantees more time in front of the camera and removes the need for logic. Obviously, strong emotions are enough and the stronger the emotion, the louder one should get. This also works when what you are proclaiming may contradict a previous statement you've made.

Do not apologize for making this post. It is important that Freepers see the nature of the worst of the thinking of the people who neither understand nor respect America. It is impossible to tell whether this woman went around the bend after the death of her son, or was a moonbat all along. Either way she is a boil on the butt of the body politic.
She should be ignored when she is speaking in public. She should be jailed as soon as she commits an act that warrants jail time.
But we should not be distracted into thinking her position is uncommon. There are tens of thousands of teachers and professors being paid public dollars to teach the same geopolitical garbage to their students. Many of the views of this one moonbat are official policy proclaimed on the website of the National "Edukashun" Association.

I prefer to politely ignore her. People can't always think straight when they've lost a child.
