No one on this entire site is more entertaining than you. Thanks, DDD, but I'm more entertained by the 'wingdings who still think Hillary is a lesbian who had an affair with Vince Foster down in Little Rock at the Excelsior Hotel. It's hard to find folks on any board more delusional than those.

"If we're gonna lose to Hillary, might as well nominate someone with at least some tiny shreds of conservative principle, doncha think???"
i am of two schools of thought on that one with multiple parts but am leaning towards Pirro running as a good thing. NY being a blue state at least Pirro has a Chance of winning albeit a slim one. Running a real conservative basically eliminates that slim chance unless hillary is caught eating babies or something. Pirro can raise her profile and possibly win another statewide race later on. Her running reduces the "gender factor" as well and may give Hillary enough of a fight to force that witch to show her true colors to the rest of the population. Overall i think this is a good thing.

New York is a lost cause, so it really doesn't make any difference whether the GOP runs Pirro, Karl Marx, or Ronald McDonald.

As I looked at those two photos another thought just crossed my mind . . .
Running Pirro against Clinton isn't just aimed at making this a contested race for the GOP (thereby forcing Hillary to spend a lot of money that she could otherwise have kept in her pocket for 2008) -- it's intended to make her look old.
If this is the kind of mindset the GOP has in this race, then I must say I'm impressed.

Probably the best person to run against her since Rudy is scared to death of the witch. If some of Blozo's abuse and molestation victims come out of the woodwork and say they think Goddess Hitlery knew and launched smear campaigns against them Jeannine is the perfect person to defend them. This is about as good as it gets, the witch is probably livid.

I don't mean a lost cause from a partisan political standpoint (the GOP has shown that it can win major offices in New York) -- I'm talking about from a philosophical perspective (the GOP can only win by running candidates who would be considered radical Marxists almost anywhere else in the U.S.).

Exactly! Peter Jennings gets some of my respect but not my condolences. He's just a guy on TV presenting the news!! And with a slant I didn't particularly like. The freeper threads with prayers and such for Jennings just aren't my cup of tea. I often see newspaper obituaries of much more interesting and righteous people. I offer my prayers for them, not Peter Jennings.

FWIW, if Hillie really wants to run for prez, I don't think that a run for re-election to the Senate is a done deal. A) She might lose. B) She'll be running for prez while supposedly still serving the people of NYS, which won't look good or go over well. C) She'll have the letters NY after her name, never a good sign as far as the most of the rest of the country's concerned.

Well, until the red bits of the state gather up the testicular fortitude to secede and form a new state, I'll be happy taking what we can get :)

From a strictly female point of view, I'd say HRC is scared to death of Pirro. On style alone, Pirro is everything HRC is not. And lets face it, in NY, style counts a lot. The conservative cause is lost there, so we might as well have Pirro.

Just heard the NPR nooner call him "The Consumate Journalist".
That's like calling Charlie McCarthy "The Consumate Method Actor".

I hear that Jennings had a lot of control and editorial control at ABC Nightly News. He wasn't just a news reader. He was a genuine journalist in his earlier years. He covered foreign beats such as the Middle East where his girlfriend was Hannan Ashwari.
All the above doesn't mean I'm mourning him. Mourning someone who figured into my life.

Then he was a journalist. And had he died still serving in the Beirut bureau or some other overseas outpost, he would not be being lamented as a "beloved almost-family member". What the crowd's tears fall for is delusion, the faux journalism of a news reader.
He is remembered today because he did don the wood and become a Charlie McCarthy of a sort, a voice of the MSM, of the modern deconstructionist, amoral, ethos. He is remembered because the MSM placed his pleasant patina in hundreds of millions of living rooms every day, and surrounded that nice and pleasant visage with legions of PR angels shouting his hosannas.

I keep hearing differing stories on this. I'll believe it when she actually announces it. Oh, I hope Pirro runs! Even if she doesn't win, a near-miss would damage Hitlery's chances at the White House.

Maybe Pirro should prosecute Hillary while she's at it.
Pirro: "Mrs Clinton, back to issue of the $100,000 cattle futures trading profit. It has been brought to light that you had never traded commodities previously but in one day you opened an account and instantly made $100,000. Do you think this is a normal course of events in this industry?"
Hillary: "Yes if a large company in your state wants to pay a bribe to someone but wants to wash the money through an indirect channel"
This is what we would hear in a perfect world.

and won't her marital history be a big negative in a race against happily married Hillary, How did you type that with a straight face.

Why is New York always a citadel of Left-wing bigotry to the extent that nobody with common sense on social issues can ever run and win...? Seems to me we need to changing the political culture at home to be more sane and rational rather than wasting our time, lives and treasure trying to pursuade towelheads to accept democracy....
