Well, Aruba is more than C and C and casinos. Those places just foul up an island.
Aruba has gorgeous beaches, water activities, sun, pretty good restaurants. I didn't like being there, stayed at the same HI and hated the casino and the people who hung out there, but the entire island is not just an ugly scene.
there are many people that probably saw the Jurine group that night....many secrets not being told.....
while a few citizens have come forward, where are the rest?.....
Aruba is evil.....its got crime/drug connections galore.....and now, a girl just ups and goes missing and people just shrug their shoulders and still go there?......I don't get it.....
worse than what has happened to Nat, because honestly, it could happen anywhere, but worse than that has been the entire govt and establishment COVER-UP of the deed to protect one of their own slimy sons....THAT's the true abomination....
I'm sure it's beautiful. I'm glad those who have been there or will go have something to share with the ones like me who don't care if they never see it.
Some would find that a dumb statement. Aside from the very real knowledge that these things don't happen 'only' on Aruba, I have a little place on the coast, so I don't much care to spend money going to beach-y places.
I prefer Europe and 'home' destinations. Greece would be an exception.
I have friends who just returned from a cruise and there was one place they said was just horrible. Can't remember where.

Never been to Aruba and I don't think i would ever want to go there.
Those these you mention above do not a country make. The worth of a country is the worth of its people.
