Ernie he gave a statement but when he came to raise his hand, he ran, doesnt that tell you something, and he wasnt scared. Personally I hope he does get charged because then some folks will be embarassed.

I felt very judgemental toward the friends, probably projecting our daughter's own hard experience at a new school, but these threads have helped me look a little deeper and see their innate innocence and promise.

I'm not certain how you can call any speculation totally bogus...most of us would have called the current known scenario totally bogus had it been presented as a hypothetical. I have no idea what lured Natalee out the door that night...too much drink, bad judgment, a drug, another party, a previous contact, etc. What I feel safe in saying is that be it by her own state of mind, the boys who escorted her out or a place she thought she was going...the destination was misrepresented to her.
I'd like to know too. Who is he?

A friend of mine just recently returned from a cruise that included a stop off at Jamaica. We were scheduled to go too, but cancelled a few months back. She was grabbed around the chest by a local who worked at a tourist water fall area. The guy said you need to get wet and proceeded to put water on her chest with his hands. She was horrified but didn't say anything because of the kids. Also didn't tell her husband. (not sure why, other than she might have been afraid to tell him, due to his temper)
As they left the waterfall area and then made their way down the mountain on a trail, they were approached repeatedly by locals trying to sell them drugs. Before the cruise, they were warned by their travel agent NOT to even speak to the locals in Jamaica - not to even give them eye contact. Were also told the locals had one interest in being friendly, which was to sell them drugs or worse. Even though warned, my friend was shocked by how determined they were to get their attention and especially shocked by what could be called a sexual assault.
Back in April when we cancelled our trip, I was somewhat disappointed. However, after what happened to Natalee, and the recent murder of the man on a cruise, and hearing of my friend's experience, I've had a change of heart. I now have no desire to put myself or my family on a cruise ship or foreign soil, where those in power may do nothing to solve crimes against tourist or worse yet - participate in an obvious cover-up of the crime.

Abrams Report: Beth confronts Deepak at the Internet Cafe today. Deepak did not want to talk with her. Even would not look at Beth at times. The confrintation was about 45 minutes long. They did talk about PVD's conversation with the 2 (Joran and Deepak)
Coming up on Dan Abrams, Beth paid a visit to Deepak Kalpoe at his place of employment.
She spoke to him for about 45 minutes, he sometimes could not look her in the eye.
She was very blunt with him, asking questions.
She will be on Abrams in a few minutes, on msnbc.

Does anyone know how beth Holloway Twitty and her ex husband get along and how this situation has affected their relationship? Are they working together to get their daughter back or do they not speak? Just curious.
