Something to try before the boycott would be to rent out a couple hundred rooms in Aruba, and allow American Marines coming back from Iraq to get a little R&R before they come home. I imagine a few hundred marines and a long weekend could clear out the waste in Aruba and have a good time in the process.

it is tough to have faith in them when the Aruba way of doing things is not to comment to the media...lack of real information...

That may be the reason that the family doesn't even care too much about the prosecution anymore. They are just desparate to get their hands on the information? Just speculating . . .

I hate to mention this but belts are a symbol for "autoerotic asphyxiation" or "scarfing" and would have special meaning in a case like this. The forensics people would immediately consider the connection.

Has this been mentioned in the thread so far?

Kidnapping-secuestering is lucrative in Mexico..they have a lot of it because everyone pays off the ransom executives, executives kids etc...while we are at it why not take an oil tanker from Aruba ($65 a barrel).Of course we would have to be worried about that top-notch ALE catching us...so maybe its not a good idea...

Nothing wrong with 1,211. The post removed was 2,111.

I had to look twice too! :o)

Seems more than ironic that he possed "strangling" a friend with a belt.

Keeping up as work load allows.

I completely understand. It is why I sometimes don't post for days . . . deadlines . . .

I found that pic to be rather sick...and in fact assumed scarfing was the message.

No..I was afraid to mention it...I have heard about a case where a guy hung himself in a garage and stoood on a block of ice while he did his thing as the ice melted and the rope got tighter..unfortunately Police surmised that he slipped on the ice and couldn't free himself...sick...

While I was at Ole Miss, two guys died doing this about 3 months apart. They found both of them in their closets with a belt around their neck.

I can think of ten-thousand other ways to get my jollies. Can you imagine suggesting that on a date?

"Well, Karen, I'm really into tying a belt around my neck during intercourse. How about you?"

Sheesh!!!

there are lots of things I dont comprehend and that is one. Another one is forcing someone to submit to your wishes. It is uncivilized and against laws of nature and the laws of man and God...

Max is a known drug dealer in Aruba, he also hosts many raves at the side of town where Joran made that call from the next morning ( I think like 6Confused?) Anyway the website that was posted a long time ago that had the boys diary about his trip to Aruba is something you all may want to read. It gives a better insight to the party life in Aruba, and these underground raves. Not to mention these boys also talk about partying with off duty police. If someone has the site, maybe they will post it. I didnt save it. But all along I have felt Max A. was somehow involved. At one time her we were speculating that maybe she was taken to one of his raves and that is where that call to Nats friends was from. Makes sense.

The one thing to keep in mind, English was not the spoken language that night. Therefore, it was easy for Jug and the others to not know exactly what was being said, waiting for translations.

Both Dutch and the island language were used, and as we know, much is lost in translation...
