Everytime the Twitty's talk about Joran having sex with Natalie, I'm totally confused as to how they got that info. Am I hearing right that they were PRESENT when Joran admitted this? I wish Greta would clear this up.

The way I understand it is Joran admitted he had sex with Natalee but he was speaking Papiamento to the police and Beth, Jug and his friends couldn't understand what he said until it was translated. I'm unclear about when the translation took place.

" But what if there is DNA on her from three or many more men?"

At this point, there is no body, only a skeleton. I suspect they burned her clothes.

Jug told of running into Ruben Trappenberg. RT did not speak to them, never acknowledged them. Jug was disgusted by RT's comments about Aruba not having backhoes and asking does the White House have backhoes parked behind it. Jug also took offense to RT saying Aruba was taking good care of the family with car, housing, etc. Jug felt like RT was saying they were mooching off of Aruban people.

Ruben Trappenberg is a POS and a fool. Does he really think he can treat Natalee's family like dirt and it not get out? I hope the next time ANY US media interviews the sob, they pin him down and make him admit his lies.

Hyperhidrosis?
Or in this case, just plain guilt.

Demkicker, I also think that people may be getting Dave Holloway and Jug Twitty confused. Wasn't it Dave that said he hadn't learned of the assault until a month ago? I believe Jug said they've known since the first night.

I don't think it's that Beth and Jug aren't sharing information with Dave. I think they simply didn't tell Dave until later because they knew what his reaction would be.

I know what MY reaction would be if I found out somebody messed with my little girl.

National Enquirer has improved somewhat over what it used to be. They've broken a few good stories. I never read it but I wouldn't discount everything in it either. I'm sure his daddy shoved the dirt over the body, so to speak. (Maybe not literally but....)

Witness Still Missing
http://www.scaredmonkeys.com/?p=1394
by Scared Monkeys

The man who claims to have witnessed Joran driving with his two friends the night that Natalee Holloway has failed to appear in Court according to the Birmingham News.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — A man who claimed he saw a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway driving with two friends the night she vanished failed to appear in court Thursday and has possibly fled the country, officials said.

The witness had been summoned to give sworn testimony in the missing Alabama teen’s case, but authorities were unable to locate him and believe he might have fled Aruba, Chief Prosecutor Karin Janssen told The Associated Press.

“There will not be a court hearing today,” she said, declining to give more details.

Police spokesman Edwin Comenencia said authorities did not know when he fled or where he might have gone.

“All we know is that we can’t find him,” Comenencia said.

Jug Twitty Appeals to the Governor of Alabama for No Boycott
http://www.scaredmonkeys.com/?p=1393
by Red

In a letter from Jug Twitty to the Governor of Alabama, Jug appeals to the Governor to reconsider their stance on any form or request of a boycott on Aruba. As many have made comments that Jug has over-reacted or acted too emotionally in dealing with authorities in his step-daughter’s disappearance. The above letter certainly shows a different side of Jug in a behind the scenes letter to the Governor of AL requesting that there be no boycott. Also the Aruban people may want to take a close look at this letter as well as Jug in no way seems to want in any form a boycott that would hurt the innocent and caring people who have helped his family so much in finding Natalee Holloway.

As previously posted, Alabama Lawmakers Ask residents not to travel to Aruba:

This may be a bit premature and actually probably a bad idea in general. Today the Alabama House passed a resolution to boycott travel to Aruba. Just as it was wrong when Dee Fine asked for boycotts on her radio show; this may be even worse. I am failing to see the productive value in such a measure except to further strain the relationship that of recent had been going in a more positive direction.

On the very day that the “Aruban Aruban Prime Minister Nel Oduber and Minister of Justice Rudy Croes ordered all materials pertaining to the Natalee Holloway investigation to be given to the FBI“. Talk about bad timing. One would think that even the family might be troubled by such a statement at this point. The Holloway’s and Twitty’s have made it abundantly known that their problem is not with the Aruban people. Their issues have been with the investigation and those it it, some who are no longer on the case.

It would appear that Jug Twitty has pretty much the same idea in mind. A boycott or threatened boycott of Aruba could only hurt relations with the Aruban people and Government when they are needed more than ever. Especially since the Aruban Prime Minister is offering his cooperation and the FBI is now able to access files on the case. Many people should see what Jug is sending to American law makers, especially the Aruban people, as this is a far cry from demanding boycotts at all cost in any attempt to hurt the Arubans. As Jug says, “Aruba and its people should not be harmed of the actions of others over which they had no control.”

Look for Beth and Jug Twitty tonight on MSNBC’s Scarborough Country at 10:00pm EDT.

Someone knows the name of the person or company, of the phone that Natalee used.

Pepper777 - bring me up to speed. FBI can look at documents, etc. but can they investigate? Interrogate CC, phone co+records?

What could be the reason for this not being a focus - could it be Joran's and that is why he is being detained? If they could do a "location" of call...., 'if', 'if', 'if'.

I watched Greta last night - why the 'recap' - bringing to light again the phone call, etc. mentioned in your post would have been of more value, IMO.

With regard to the Boycott, I respectfully disagree with you. It has been 74 days now since Natalee disappeared and we are no closer to discovering what happened to her. The Govt. of Aruba has stonewalled this case from the very beginning. They were hoping the media would tire of it, Beth would tire of it and all would go back to normal in a short period of time. They were wrong and now it has turned into an International Incident.Clearly, they are now at Defcon II and manning the barricades. They are completely on the defense and show no signs of revealing the truth about this case which I am certain they have known from day one.

A Boycott is unfortunate because it will only hurt the little people of Aruba BUT, I believe that is what it is gonna take to break this case open. It will also send a strong warning to other Caribbean Island Nations not to spill American blood ever again.

I think it is another Max. His father was telling me that they were both floored when they saw his name on the internet, because it came so out of the blue, he is really not involved with Joran, They are local people, and they had raised him rather conservatively. This Max is not a party boy.

Oh, and if it sounds strange to you that I spoke to him in Florida, it is obviously on his cell phone. A SETAR number, interesting so they have roaming now. I have SETAR too, good to know

Oh I get it-Your asking if I am the editor of Aruba Today-Julia Renfro-No I am not, as I said before, sadly, she is much younger than I, and in a few hours I will be another year older, Aug 12 is my Birthday.

Yes, many students go to UCF-they have a special agreement with the Aruba Scholarship Fund, they give them the same tuition as instate students, and the Aruba Scholarship Fund manages the program. It is LAC and it supports many students from Aruba and other islands around the Caribbean.

Does it make sense for her to runaway in a foreign country without her documents, where she wouldn't be able to work or likely not speak the language either?
Why not just wait a day or two and get on a bus back in the states and at least leave a note?

I was having a very hard time with my mother just before I turned 21, and I did that. I got very pissed off one day, wrote them a note and got on a bus for N.Y. City.
That is another story for my memoirs-it was an adventure, believe me, but again I escaped unscathed. I think I have an angel watching over me, I hope the Natalee has one too.

No, the runaway story doesn't wash with me, it just doesn't make sense. Unless at home they keep her chained up, so this was her only chance-
I don't think so.

Got to go, I think I am about to get my birthday present.
