If the IDF captured an Arab shooter in the act, tied him up and then allowed a mob of "settlers" to stomp him to death, which atrocity do you think the media would be hollering about?
This is what happens when civilized people (Jews/Israelis) allow barbarians to exist with them. Let the barbarians riot, then quell the riots with all appropriate force....and tell the rest of the Arab world that if they don't want a reprise of 1967 they'll mind their own business. However, I seriously doubt that Sharon has the gonads to do that.

So, according to this, they don't know if he was lynched before or after he was dead.
The report I read yesterday said he was beaten to death by the mob and mentioned NOTHING about a lynching. He was pulled from the bus, and beaten to death. Then it said he was seen with horrible bruising all over his torso, and was very bloody. They had also put a black plastic bag on top of him to cover his face and head. Either way, it was not my error. As far as I'm concerned, they can kill every Muslim on the face of the earth, and I could care less, but this time, the Israeli was wrong.
I believe you and I were both on an earlier thread on this subject. This latest response makes me even more suspicious. Kind of like when Jack Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald.
I agree with you. It shames me and my people that the guy was Jewish, but he was. He was a Jewish terrorist.
What I will say is that while he did deserve death, there is something to be said for the rule of law. He did seem to be disarmed, tied up and stripped. Thus, I can only call this a lynching. He should have been executed by the state (although Israel doesn't have the death penalty unfortunately), not stomped to death by a mob.

This attack happened in the North in a town, Shfaram, that the article calls Arab.
There have been recent hostilities between Arabs and Druze in the North. Druze are loyal Israeli citizens who do compulsory service in the army.
In the recent terror bombing in Netanya two Israeli Arabs have been arrested for transporting the Jihadist and his handler. They claim they did not know he was a terrorist. In this Intifadah there have been many Israeli Arabs who enabled the terrorists to enter Israel. As Israeli citizens they have unfettered access and are not subject to being turned away at checkpoints because of their Israeli license plates.
Arab Ministers are already turning this into a global attack for which the government of Israel is responsible:

If the mob killed the perp while he was killing then good for the mobThat's why an investigation is justified, regardless of the threats. Initial reports were exactly this, a crowd attacked him while he was reloading. Closer to Flight 93 than vigilantism.
Later reports suggest otherwise. Even though he deserved the firing squad that Israeli law unfortunately does not permit, taking him away from police officers who had already subdued him cannot be justified, and also places the police at risk.

So this means the Israelis can go ahead and lynch all the failed suicide bombers, mortar/rocket crews, snipers, and other terrorist attackers they have in custody, right?
