WASHINGTON -- An Illinois man is under arrest, charged with threatening to blow up the Capitol Hill headquarters of the Council on American Islamic Relations.
D.C. Police assisted the F.B.I. in the arrest of 55-year-old Max Oakley of Toledo.
He allegedly e-mailed threats to bomb CAIR's D.C. office and other American mosques unless the civil rights group ceased operations.
If convicted, Oakley faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Ten years in jail for allegedly threating CAIR? How about all the people murdered by real bombs financed by CAIR's Saudi and al Queda money sources?

It is all about the ABUSE OF FREEDOMS IN THIS COUNTRY.

How about: Ten years in jail for being a doofus and gift-wrapping propaganda for CAIR to use against critics of Islam.

The obvious solution here is for Mr. Oakley to convert to Islam. That way, he can threaten anything he wants to, without fear of the US government. We only arrest Muslim's after they does the deed. Prior to that, free pass.

Yeah, this fool played right into CAIR's well crafted victim PR.
To: FormerACLUmember
CAIR is a terrorist organization, not a victim.

Does he have a defense fund? We shold support him.
To: RocketJsqurl
No offense, but why should we support him? As has been pointed out, his dumb little prank provides a wonderful propaganda tool for the enemy. If we support him, then we're lumped right in there with him.
CAIR needs to be given one-way tickets out of this country. But a terrorist is a terrorist. Bomb threats are a tool of a terrorist, IMNTBHO.

He would get a less severe sentence if he had actually done it. Amazing system we have.

Just a thought but, the ACLU and the International Red Cross both have Muslim members- I'm guessing the odds are good that those Muslim members are also members of or contributors to CAIR.
All three orgs. exhibit similar characteristics and behavior.

If there was ever a target that would be deemed worthy this one would be right up at the top.
