Our border states are now in illegal immigration trauma mode and crying loudly for help concerning it. Federal immigration laws are being broken, smashed and scrunched into the ground without challenge. The States need the feds to enforce the laws, but NOOOOOOOO. Other than ICE going after MS-13, deportation is occurring and illegals are coming right back time and again after deportation.
Either OBL or Zarqawi could easily enter this country via our porous borders. If or when it happens, they probably wouldn't be considered "hardworking people looking for work here." Doubtful they'll be planning a visit as dignitaries either. Should that happen after all the clamor to get our borders closed, egg on face would not be the only consequence.
It's amazing to me that this administration isn't being proactive.
I did see someone this morning, a republican from Arizona who said they want a fence built on the border. It was encouraging until he said they'll wait until 2006 and put it on a referendum. ~fizzle~
