I thought so as well. Initial reports had, for the most part, surmised that the passengers were dead long before impact. Several reports I read said death could have occurred 30 secs. to a minute after whatever event took place that caused the sudden loss of cabin pressure. Now it looks as though the passengers were merely incapacitated. But whatever it was, it happened quickly, since the oxygen masks were seen dangling, not on passengers' faces. Wonder where the 2 people who were seen in the cabin trying to gain control of the plane were at the time of the event (i.e. why they weren't unconscious like the rest).
