ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Australian Prime Minister John Howard has invited 14 moderate Islamic leaders to a meeting in Canberra next week, and has defended his decision to exclude radical leaders, saying he wants to marginalise extremism.
The meeting is part of Mr Howard's strategy to promote tolerance and minimise extremism, and will include discussions on how to stop religious leaders from inciting violence and terrorism."
