Our very first newfie, NANA (as in the nurse from Peter Pan) who btw is a direct cousin to the Saint Bernard, chewed up some of my favorite holsters, but they were still usable. Everytime I use one of those now, I sorta shed a tear for her, since we lost her at the ripe old age of 12 in 2003. 12 is REALLY old for a newfie. Nana also had a fondness for my wife's Italian leather evening shoes....

Nessa was our best dog ever. She died (old age) the day before our youngest son was born. Those albums will never be thrown away. She will live on in our memories as long as we live. She also loved to chew on my husband's shoes (soft leather uppers).
Once your pup is trained, I'd venture to guess she'll be a lifetime keeper!
