The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

Yep, the boards/forums are interesting.

One never knows if he/she is really speaking to a terrorist, a wannabe, a supporter; a researcher, a cop, a judge...

FACT: I personally NEVER participate in any forum except FreeRepublic.com and LittleGreenFootballs.com. That's it.

Since 9-11 though, I have logged extraordinary hours cybersurfing.

Wasn't it about a year ago, there was an "earthquake" at or near Yellowstone, that was recorded both here and in France and then disappeared from the records?

There was a lot of talk of it here. and other websites.

I believe that a super explosion will set off earthquakes and volcano's, but it must be done just so, not just a blast on the surface.

No, I do not have the training to back up my statement, but do have a lot of years of watching things happen and then other things follow them.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A notorious British-based Islamic extremist has said Ireland is a "legitimate" target for al-Qa'ida terror attacks.

Anjem Choudary, who has close links to the infamous hate preacher, Omar Bakri Mohammed, said the use of Shannon Airport as a stop-off for US warplanes justifies Ireland being attacked.

The solicitor (38) said: "If your government wants to support the atrocities in Afghanistan they can expect some repercussions," and added that Ireland had "opened itself" to attacks from radical Muslims linked to al-Qa'ida.

Choudary even said that terrorists have the right to kill indiscriminately since American bombers did not pick and choose military targets in Iraq."

I read your post and found it interesting that Russia was seeming to care an awful lot about it's citizens... I've never heard of anyone being so sure of an impending earthquake--within 4 months, at that.

Either Russia needs a giant tinfoil hat, or they're up to something (I say the latter--or perhaps the military "exercises" with China are just another symptom of their collective paranoia??)

If our borders remain open, we will pay a price that is beyond what the country can stand.

Civil War looks closer every day, and may be what it takes to save the country.

Clinton labeled the Militia as nazi and anti-American, many of the groups disappeared... But I would bet that they could be reformed, filled with real Americans, who want America to be a free country, not another fraction of the communist/one world order.

Note the map in the first posts, it show the war game area as across the bay from South Korea.
