Threat Matrix HTML designed by: Ian Livingston

There has been a crash in Pennsylvania, from this link, it appears that there was also one yesterday.
Fox news at 4 am, on radio, said 3 dead and 1 in the hospital.

It's from Debka but I'm posting it anyway for the record. On the main thread it is mentioned that Israel issued some sort of warning to Greece:
http://www.debka.com/
Greek army chief does not rule out hijack of Cypriot Helios airliner that crashed north of Athens with 115 passengers and 6 crew aboard Sunday. No sign yet of survivors.
August 14, 2005, 12:47 PM (GMT+02:00)
Two pilots reported incapacitated before crash. Greek F-16 pilot escorting the plane from Larnaca said, according to one report, one pilot was not visible and co-pilot seen collapsed. A second report claimed both were slumped in their cockpit seats before the crash. Greek air force jets were scrambled into the air when the Cypriot plane from Larnaca signaled it was in trouble and Athens international airport went on emergency footing. DEBKAfile: Until the cause of the crash is determined, Middle East and Mediterranean airports have gone on high terror alert for possible air hijacks
There was also a warning out for cruise ships in the area
http://www.kosinfo.gr/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=207
This is so sad, so tragic. From the article:
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=1036366&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312
......Unconfirmed media reports also said one of the pilots may have fallen ill or unconscious.
Sotiris Voutas, the first cousin of a passenger on the plane, said he received a text message from his relative on his mobile phone minutes before the crash.
"He told me the pilots were unconscious
he said: 'My cousin I bid you farewell, we are all frozen'.".....
LOL! That seems to be the only solution. How about putting up a wall around Chernobyl and dropping them there?
I never frown at Debka, look at the family it has given to us on Threat Matrix........with a hug.
I posted this Israel ships report on the plane crash thread,
there are other posts at the 2nd link, but it is too big for my computer, interesting, someone says Turkey Terrorists, and Turkey says not from Turkey......

This is a report for the 9th of August of threats to several Israel

Thousands of Israeli Tourists under Terror Threat in Turkey
(Globes/Jerusalem Post)--Israel's National Security Council's
counterterrorism unit
issued a travel warning
Monday urging citizens to refrain from visiting the popular southern
coast of Turkey,
between Alanya and
Kemer, due to a "concrete terrorist threat." The strip includes the city
of Antalya, a
favorite destination
for Israeli tourists. Israeli officials estimated there are presently
thousands of Israelis
in the area.
The travel advisory comes just three days after Transportation
Minister Meir Sheetrit
ordered four cruise
ships with some 3,500 vacationers heading to Alanya to change course
and dock in
Cyprus because of
terror warnings. He diverted another cruise ship on Monday.
Ambassador to Turkey Pinhas Avivi told The Jerusalem Post he would
recommend that
Israelis in the area
covered by the warning spend their vacation in other parts of the
country such as the
Aegean Coast, the
Black Sea, or Central Turkey.
The warning read: "In light of the revelations regarding serious
concrete terrorist
threats at coastal sites in
Turkey, the National Security Council counterterrorism HQ hereby
issues a temporary
travel warning, which
is likely to be short, until the threats are lifted. Until such time, all
Israeli citizens are
warned to avoid
visiting or staying in the coastal strip in southern Turkey between
Alanya and Kemer.
Recommendations
against staying close to Turkey's borders with Iran and Iraq remain in
force. Israelis
are likewise called on
to be alert and maintain the recommended rules of behavior
throughout Turkey."
In response to a question whether the intelligence urging Israeli ships
and citizens
not to go to the
Turkish Riviera came from Turkish sources, government spokesman
Cemil Cicek
declined to comment,
saying that both countries have been in close contact for a long time,
exchanging
intelligence, especially
on terrorism.
Despite warnings, 80percent of Israeli tourists have not changed their
plans, and will
visit Kemer and
Antalya. 20 percent of tourists sought to change their destination to
Bodrum, which
lies outside the area
of the warning, or to other sites in Cyprus or Bulgaria. Very few tried
to cancel their
vacations at the risk
of paying full cancellation fees.
Those seeking to change their travel destinations will also have to pay
fully for the
change, even though
the change is due to security reasons 3,000 Israelis a day visit Turkish
vacation areas,
particularly
Antalya, on thirteen daily flights. 350,000 Israeli tourists visit Turkey
annually, some
of whom are making
repeat visits to the country.

This is a report on the ships and al Qaeda terrorists that may or may
not have been arrested in Turkey.

That the pilots were sick is not that unusual, about 25 years ago, bad fish was served on an airliner in Canada and as I recall it, a man who had been a pilot many years before, for a short time, landed the plane, there was a book and a movie about it.
The true story is some place on the internet, I ran across it last year.
Someone on the thread said there are 80 kids on the plane?
Wasn't the last threats about children?
6 am Fox radio news, says an official has ruled out terrorism, that the air conditioner was not working, or some
such.
As if i will believe that they know the cause this soon.
Sorry for not getting back - fell asleep. Stayed quite last night. I'd be curious to find out what was going on, but probably never will. Just glad it stayed quiet.
And, as usual, we don't know why but we know it's not terrorism.
T.M.ers, this you will want to read, I had read it a few months ago, but it has new meaning today.
My thanks to Gorons for posting it on the 2nd plane crash thread.

Have you ever read this article?

"From Russia With Terror"
Interview between Frontpage Mag and Ion Mihai Pacepa, former
acting chief of Communist Romanias espionage service.
He tells how Russia prodded the middle east to use airplanes as a
means of hijacking, etc.
Very interesting story ;)

We keep at least a years supply of tp, anti-bacterial liquid soap, paper towels, bleach, shampoo, bath soap and toothpaste. Unlike food, they won't go bad and it's one less thing to worry about in the event of an "event".

...The document goes on to suggest that the proposed methods will involve suicide drivers:...
i live in a beach community.
We are inundated with suicide drivers. We call them tourists.
Per FoxNews
Bomb threat at Mayflower Hotel, Wash. DC.
All guests evacuated.
Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer. Hate to say it, NPR often features some GREAT Jazz Music programs, so that's my official excuse.
Now it's said to be a "hoax" bomb.
The movie AIRPLANE???
Speaking of planes:
British Airways may be flying from Heathrow again, but last night 10,000 bags were yet to be restored to their owners.
