Very true words Wolfstar, one of the saddest things IMHO in England was how many talented young men died in the first world war we had learned our lesson by the second so many of the artists and intellilectuals unless they insisted did not participate on the front line but their talents and skilled were used in other ways.

There are many ways to fight a war, and what happens on the home front is equally as important as what happens on the battlefield. In some respects, more so.
