can't believe how naive American citizens have been brainwashed into saying that it is ok for this non-European immigrants to come in, as long as they come in legally.

Yeah, I guess we've got a real gang problem, welfare problem, ER overcrowding and crime problem with legal immigrants (even though they are outnumbered 3-1 with illegal immigrants) from countries such as Korea, the Philippines and India. And don't forget the Jooze. < / sarcasm>

Dean is faithfully playing his role as left wing radical to add contrast to Hillary's move to the right. They are correct in taking their base for granted as the kool aid drinkers would never vote for a Republican. They know Hillary's rightward move is phony and they applaud her for it. They admire good liars. However, as we know, there are a certain number of idiots out there who will be swayed by Hillary and vote Democrat.

They are also hard at work trying to divide conservatives over the immigration issue, CAFTA, etc., and encourgage a third candidate as either an independent or another party in order to split the Republican vote and win. Some here on FR are aiding and abetting that effort.

Isn't that one of topics Hillary! has been yaking about to appear more as a centrist?

Yes, she recently loudly proclaimed that she was against illegal immigration. Her base just smiles at the lie.

And .. people always leave off the word ILLEGAL. No body is against LEGAL immigration.

Also .. Dean is spouting the exact opposite of what Hillary has been spewing lately. Sounds to me like the dems are DIVIDED on this issue.

The republican party of California slit their own throat with Prop 187.

Now there are those that want to do the same thing on a national level.

"Unfortunately we have leftists on this forum, in fact on this very thread who think the U.S. Constitution is little more than toilet paper,..."

Isn't that the truth, especially the ones who want to deny that a person is an American citizen despite the 14th Amendment clearly saying that anyone born in America is an American citizen.

And also the ones who want to pervert the Constitution by taking a section that places the burden of defending the nation from foreign armies on the central government and twist it to claim it says that the central government has to prosecute people who hire Mexican gardeners and maids.

Oh, and we mustn't forget the ones who want to do away with our federalist form of government established by the Constitution and give the central government all authority previously vested in the states, such as who they can allow to drive on their state and city roads, how to structure college tuitions, and what reports the state and local police must file.

But most importantly are the leftest who want to abolish the Bill of Rights and impose a police state without due process of law, probable cause, trial by jury, freedom of speech in any language, freedom of travel without ubiquitous "papers please" roadblocks, freedom of association and contract between employer and employee................

****Oh, and don't you think you ought to put "illegal") in (). No one I know has a problem with legal Mexican immigration.***

You're absolutely right. Because I know both of them!

just kidding.

"immigrant flow are nothing more than a drain on our economy, thieves of American jobs, and bearer of un-American cultures. "

Immigrants are the backbone of our economy. Who do you think is replacing those 40 million Americans aborted since Roe v Wade?

Even illegal immigrants contribute 800 Billion Dollars annually to our GCP.

I keep hearing certain people talk about someone "stealing" a job, as if a job is a form of property that someone can have an ownership interest in. The people who think that they own a job, or are owed a job, or entitled to a job, are usually the hard core unemployables who get fired from job after job all on their own because of their attitude toward their employers.

The people who give thanks everyday that they are allowed to come to work for their employer don't have to worry about another individual "stealing" their job.

The fact that you can say that without fear of being called a racist is probable because you are not a racist.

I disagree with you but respect your integrity.

Prosecute people who hire Mexican gardeners and maids? Oh, you mean prosecute people who hire illegal alien lawbreakers. Hiring illegal alien lawbreakers is a violation of our federal immigration laws.

"No body is against LEGAL immigration. "

See post #37.

There are people who are against only illegal immigrants.
There are people who are against both legal and illegal immigrants.
There are people who are against all Hispanics regardless of whether they just swam the Rio Grande or are tenth generation American citizens.

Two well known people who are against all immigration, both legal and illegal are Pat Buchanan and Tom Tancredo. They want a moratorium on all immigration. (moratorium means a freeze, suspension, cessation, termination, time out...)).

How did "defend the states from invasion" in that void that passes for your brain, come to mean what you just said it did?

Either you were presenting a deliberate falsehood, or you simply can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy.

Of course there have always been and always will be INDIVIDUALS who scapegoat other races, religions and ethnic groups for their own personal failings,

Yeah, like the way you continually scapegoat American workers as being lazy, or not being able to hold a job, or being overpaid, or being whiners and complainers, or being unmotivated, or having a bad attitude, or being unemployable, or being drunkards, etc. And if American employers want to avoid having to deal with all of these horrible American workers, they should hire illegal alien workers instead. We've heard more than enough of your anti-American worker, pro-illegal alien worker BS over the years here on Free Republic.

They're not immigrants. They're illegal aliens.

bayourod doesn't make a distinction between legal and illegal when it comes to immigration.

Ahhh, now that's more like it! Don't know why you haven't been using this one for the last few days, but there it is.

And here's the answer to that brilliant question. If one million Americans are aborted each year, then the one million people who immigrate to America legally are more than sufficient to compensate. (There's just this little problem with them not being here illegally, in terms of being exploitable for sub-minimum wage by unscrupulous employers, but hey, whatever, riight?)

Yes, we want employees to cringe in awe of their bosses.Any other attitude is unacceptable.
Why is it so hard for people who love illegal immigration to see the anger which simmering under the veneer servileness? Illegal immigrants do not act servile because they respect us.They act servile because they are afraid of deportation.
There is a connection though to aborted babies. With abortion we have become a morally bankrupt people who are addicted to slavery.

Anyone who wants a job today can get one, even if it isn't his first choice of a job or it doesn't pay as much as he desires or if it requires him to get up earlier than accustomed.

But a person with a bad attitude who resents employers isn't going to last long at any type job anywhere at any pay level.
