How absurd. It only took him around 15 years to get the real job done.
Michael Schiavo is awarded "Guardian of the Year" for allowing his estranged wife to be dehydrated/starved to death.
At first I thought this was a spoof headline, but after reading the comments I knew it was for real, and there is no way I'm going to waste my time by reading that BS article!! It just goes to show how murderers can be held up as hero's...it just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Schiavo is awarded for dehyrdating & starving his estranged wife. Her only crime was that she was disabled.
And most probably before that.
When he explains why he refused to attend FOUR court ordered depostitions and never had to answer ONE question directly about the circumstances surrounding Terri's so called accident, when he explains the orders to keep her blinds drawn, to not allow visitors to Terri without his verbal permission, denied access to Terri when he was mad at her parents, denied all forms of comfort to Terri, treating as if she had no feelings, spiritual or physical, kept her isolated in a house for the terminally ill, refused to allow her to be taken outside, even to the lobby to join other patients after her wheel chair supposedly broke seven years prior to her murder, in affidavits from Terri's nurses through the grusome years and nursing home hopping, the told of his abuse and references to Terri as the 'bitch'....
when he EXPLAINS this....then maybe, maybe...I could read about this horrific award.
The Florida press helped this monster to kill his wife.
i'm just speechless. theres nobody more deserving according to those clowns? what a commentary on the sad state of todays affairs.

Lots of lawyers and some involved with orgs that deal with the elderly. Guess those guardianships are lucrative!
