Electing Jim will send the strongest possible message to our elected officials.

He's a great man, and will make a great candidate, in my opinion.

This special election is going to be a wide open affair...it's ready-made for someone like Jim Gilchrist.

Orange County very Republican, Cox's area even more so, but big bucks needed to win.

For people outside CA, how about some background info? It's kind of frustrating to be told he's great etc. with no explanation.

Go for it Jim!

John Campbell has the endorsement of the Lincoln Club (Country Club republicans)
Marilyn Brewer has John McCain's endorsement.
The New Majority can't decide between the two.

If I could vote in that district, Gilchrist would be a welcome addition to the choices.

John Campbell has this race sewn up tighter than a drum.

I've bookmarked Jim Gilchrist's website. I'll be sending him some money for his campaign.

Jim Gilchrist hasn't even filed a committee yet. If he's considering a run, he needs to get a campaign treasurer and file a committee - especially he's collecting money.

I am here to announce the results of the General election in December (I doubt Campbell will get 50% plus 1 in the primary due to Brewer being very well funded):

Campbell 50%
Young 42%
Gilchrist 8%

Stay tuned.
