"According to a study by Handgun-Free America, which seeks to ban private handgun ownership, there were 164 workplace shootings in the United States between 1994 and 2003, in which 290 people were killed and 161 were wounded."
This is from the article linked to by the poll. That's not a very convincing stat. DC kills more folks than that in just 1 year. AND they have a gun ban. Of course when these stats are presented to the liberals they lay the blame on VA and MD for allowing guns. Then when we point out that MD and VA don't have DC's little problem, liberals point out how global warming is destroying the Earth. (WTF i know ;) liberal logic for you)

Sorry, I'm not going to give MSNBC the hits on their website just for this poll. No one watches that channel, and I doubt many go to that site. This is a cheap ploy to get people to up the number of "hits" their site gets.

What they also fail to make mention of is that most of these killings in the work place occur in "gun free" enviornments, whereby the workers become sitting ducks. A killer can easily kill several people because no one can defend against him, and take him out,

I think they were citing only the shootings at post offices. :-)
