C130's over Georgia
Myself
Posted on 08/04/2005 7:11:39 PM PDT by greccogirl
Hello, fellow freepers. There seems to be heavy C130 flyings over the Dallas, and Acworth, Georgia areas this evening. I've seen several passes just before dark and one has passed over my house at least four times in the past half hour, quite low for them. Anyone know what is up?

Uh, maybe because there is a city in Georgia called... Dallas. Or perhaps a town in Texas?

Really? Can I have an orangutan?
They could fit lots of orangutans in a C-130.

My guess is the National Guard pilots are practicing to get their hours in, something they have not had to do since 9-11. This could just be a return to activity more typical six years ago.

IMHO, a lot of C-130's.

Best Advise:
Enjoy the wonderful sound of government aviation engines......
Here live about 50 miles south of Dyess AFB.
Most days there is all kinds of noise in the sky.
That is the sound of freedom.
