If this happened during the Clinton administration then it doesn't count. All scandals during that time frame receive the special, "media noseeum" dispensation granted solely in conjunction with and at the discretion of the NY Times, Dan Rather, and the Arkansas Mafia trifecta.

The major beneficiary of pro-Israel campaign contributions in this state has been U.S. Rep. Artur Davis, DEMOCRAT-Birmingham. According to an estimate by the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics, Davis received $206,595 in pro-Israel contributions in advance of the 2002 election. This despite the fact he was not an incumbent, and despite the fact his five-term incumbent opponent, Earl Hilliard, was also a Democrat.

Earl Hilliard and Cynthia McKinney were talking a lot of seditious trash about George Bush knowing about 9/11 in advance, etc. AIPAC was doing the Lord's work here, in getting rid of Hilliard. He's long gone. Unfortunately, Cynthia McKinney was elected again.

want a laugh?

Look at the pic the Boston Glob is running for tomorrow's paper

'In this photograph taken in June 2003, Karl Rove, senior advisor to President Bush and Robert Novak are pictured together at a party marking the 40th anniversary of Novak's newspaper column at the Army Navy Club in Washington DC. Novak was suspended indefinitely by CNN after he swore and walked off the set during a debate with Democratic operative James Carville. The exchange came on CNNs "Inside Edition" during a discussion of Florida's Senate campaign. (AP Photo/Lauren Shay)'

I am SURE they could have found a more recent picture of Novak than 2003.....after all, it's the AP!.....heh-heh...

It's odd how they flip out and think "This is it!" over pretty much every little crumb they get.

Sure, after their near-victory this week in Ohio, they're dreaming of all those near-victories they'll have during the next few years.

LOL

The funny thing is, I don't think the R's are doing so much RIGHT as W, especially, trips up the D's at every turn, mostly because they're so eager to "get" him.

national security pings . .

=======================

Mr. McNulty stated: “When it comes to classified information, there is a clear line in the law. Today's charges are about crossing that line. Those entrusted with safeguarding our nation's secrets must remain faithful to that trust.

Those not authorized to receive classified information must resist the temptation to acquire it, no matter what their motivation may be.”

"dummies are having orgasms over this"

Their demented minds think the same law will be applied to Karl Rove and Robert Novak.

The contacts (note plural) began in 1999. They met with Franklin in 2003. Sounds like Franklin was a career person who was only the latest to participate, but got caught.

I really don't care if Franklin was a democrat or Republican. What this does show is that we have people at the Pentagon who are willing to compromise national security; it also shows that we have an administration who is willing to prosecute those same people.
