President George W Bush welcomes Colombia's President Alvaro Uribe to his ranch in Texas, they went for a drive, held a private meeting, and then held a joint press conference. After lunch they spent the afternoon discussing regional security and diplomatic issues.

Vice President Dick Cheney is leading a delegation to Saudi Arabia to pay respects to King Fahd (no photos or report to be found almost as if there is a media black out on this). This is strange in 2 respects one no photos and that all reports seem to indicate that all other countries sent people the previous day to the Memorial Service.

Yesterday Secretary of State paid her respects to the late Saudi King Fahd by signing the Book of Condolence in the Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington.

New U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton in his Security Council debut, pressed Syria and Iran to do more to stem the flow of terrorists, arms and funding into neighboring Iraq

I'm sitting home with "walking pneumonia" - which I'm told is the kind that is resistant to antibiotics and I have to "wait it out" to get over it. Doctors orders say for me to wait it out in bed, and I'm boooooooored.

Absolutely Peach. I have carped a bit about my own PM but in reality neither he or your President can have a true holiday whether they have their vacation at home or a abroad.

From what I understand from various people at work nail vanish on toes is back in and the brighter the better.

Oh, I hadn't heard that! Shows you how far behind the times I must be---LOL. Love your term of "varnish" instead of "polish".

We use both varnish and polish the product is sometimes labelled as polish but day to day terminology in the UK is varnish including the product for removing it is called nail varnish remover.

Hi, snugs. We've had nearly a month of company visiting and I haven't been around much. They all had a REAL vacation away from cell phones, advisors, emergencies, etc., unlike world leaders.
