It looks like the pictures in post #1 have been stretched horizontally. Was that really necessary? If you'll read the whole article, you'll learn that these ladies aren't anywhere near plus sized. They are size 6 - 12, and the average US woman is size 12 - 14. These women are normal and healthy instead of being Lindsay Lohan Anorexic!

Actually, many of those ladies are my physical type. I like my ladies to be "filled in" in two places.

Remember that the fashion industry is dominated by Gay men, hence the emphasis on boyish looking women.

I get it, they are CSLF (Could Stand to Lose a Few), and they are sparing us the BFPW's (Big Fat Pie Wagons).

Yes ma'am, and more power to them.

There's way too much media push given to unrealistic body types, especially for femmes.

And not that you asked, but I prefer women who look like grown women instead of pre-adolescent boys.

Per post #18 - the black woman, third from left - remember those old cartoons, when a pretty woman walked by and the character's eyes bugged out and fire erupted from his mouth and he ran around in circles? That's me right now.

"It looks like the pictures in post #1 have been stretched horizontally. Was that really necessary?"

I posted it according to the dimensions listed in the properties for the picture. I humbly apologize for any distortion. In fact, the picture you posted is not from the ad campaign. It is the ladies at a public, promotional event. A sample of the ad campaign is in the background. So, perhaps you should exercise some truth in advertising.

"If you'll read the whole article, you'll learn that these ladies aren't anywhere near plus sized."

This is the third sentence of the story: "The curvy nonmodel models." The premise of the article is that these women don't fit the mold (so to speak) of the standard model. It is the subject of the article. If you like this look, I am happy for you. But, don't jump down my throat about it.
