What a brilliant start, Mr.Bolton. This is the kind of person USA needs at the corrupt and politically correct United Nations; a simple straight talker.
"dems obstruct, soldiers are f****d"?
It's easy to forget CNN anymore...
Next up, you've gotta do one to "Trailers For Sale or Rent" about the Clintons...
The House of Saud is a fractured bunch. Some of it is for us and against us - as evidenced by terrorist acts against Saudi Arabia by Al Qaeda.
I am the walrus, goo goo gjoob.
Wow, that did not take long.
And they won't be their friends anymore.
I will not sell out my country for cheap gas, and I didn't think Bush would either.........
Thank you for that!
None of it is for us. Have you seen what they teach in their state sponsored schools and mosques? They hate this country and all that it stands for and they're not afraid to say it. It's we who play the fool and kiss their robbed royal asses at every turn while refusing to publicly acknowledge their continued support of terrorism against this country. Hopefully the country will wake up after the next attack because I can assure you, as in London a Saudi will have a hand in it.
Now that could be interestin'. I'll have to do some thinking and see what I can come up with.
To quote President Bush, "You're either with us or against us".
"...So to answer your question, no I will not sell out my country for cheap gas and I didn't think Bush would either.

I do have the same sentiments you voice. I am sure 95% of the FR's do. Unfortuately it is not so simple to remedie the situation. I am not skirting the issues, quite the contrary. And we don't know what GWB had to say to Abbdullah on this past visit or earlier visits. I don't see what we can do to threaten the royal family to do more. And do lets us remember, that they have for a long time been attempting to close down terrorist cells in their own country that continue to plaugue them. I assume you are aware there are cells that want to blow up the Saudi infrastructure, e.g. oil refineries, oil field pumping stations, the oil distribution grid, etc.. At any rate, I assure you I don't like things as they now stand, and I most certainly want to see my Marine nephew return in one piece from Al Anbar from his second tour to the pit. I have a personal stake in all this stuff. I just feel we often for many reasons do not take all things in consideration that must be addressed on any issues dealing with foreign powers and how we interface with them. But short of threatning the Saudi's with a full military invasion, we do not always hold all the cards in world wide diplomacy. Never did, and never will.
The Bolton policy direction was quicker to emerge than a ferret down a drainpipe !
I can see John Bolton started on the new job !!!
WOOOO - HOOOO !
"I see Mr. tough talking Bolton is continuing this administrations policy of ignoring Saudi participation against the US in the War on Terror."
I most certainly am not singling you out, believe me. But what would you have Big John do? Let us remember, he started yesterday. And we must not forget he must follow what Condi and GWB suggest. Let's give him some time to work out the fine details. If anything the DoS is not going to want it to look like they brought in a hatchet man. John will tough as leather as things get underway. Let us try to have a little patience. Another thing. Let us remember that king Fahd just passed away. Give the new king a chance to re-arrange who is doing what and how much in his family and the government. It will take time to get the Saudis on track.
United Nations Security Council Resolution 1441 threatened unarticulated serious consequences for Iraq's failure to comply with disarmament obligations that had been set out in several previous resolutions.
It did not authorize an invasion of Iraq.
The US and Great Briton invaded anyway.
I suggested that a parallel strategy may be unfolding.
Parse my words all you want - I was trying to be optimistic. IMO, Bolton's first act showed fortitude.
LOL!
