Nadia Marin-Molina, an advocate for the day laborers, understands the concerns expressed by neighbors, but insisted "it's a two-way street."
"Some of these same people who are complaining are the people who benefit from the work these guys do," she said. "Because every house has landscaping done, or has to have some job done on their roof, or some painting done."

It's not just about farm labor anymore.. amnesty and open borders for anyone anytime is what they want, It's their 'right' , yaknow.

The tension was ratcheted up in mid-June, when officials in the town of Brookhaven, which includes Farmingville, and Suffolk County police began evicting men from overcrowded houses, citing health and safety violations. Dozens of people were jammed into the tiny one-family homes.
So far, at least six houses have been shut by authorities - including three last Friday - leaving more than 100 men homeless, advocates said.
Advocates claimed the immigrants have been thrown into the streets without warning. One advocate called it "ethnic cleansing."

ship 'em back whence they come from..

Some houses had over 30 men living in them for 250 month each.
I have never hired an illegal but my neighbor has and I get mad every time he does.

with Hispanics beaten, harassed and evicted in recent weeks. AP put this in the very first sentence in hopes that folks wouldn't read much further and get the whole story - such as the fact that the evictions were for good cause. And we have the obligatory misplaced modifier:
That same day, four people demonstrating at a 7-Eleven in support of day laborers were arrested when they surrounded an anti-ILLEGAL immigration protester's car
But no, the protestor was opposed to just plain ol' immigration.

Uh huh.

The illegal aliens cleansed themselves? Someone forced 50 of them to live in a single-family home at gunpoint?
Uh huh.

So no enforcing the law is ethnic cleansing. Will they call it ethnic cleansing when Gringos are intimidated and forced from their homes in heavily Hispanic neighborhoods? I doubt it--the "celebrate the diversity" crowd in DC and the MSM will just look the other way.

The best solution to this problem is for all the "newcomers"
to be moved into the same neighborhoods in which the
members of The Times' editorial board live. The people
of Greenwich and New Canaan will surely be thrilled by
such an arrangement.

100/6= a little over 16
They are safer being homeless. If a fire started, and they burned in the fire, they would be complaining that the county didn't do enough to prevent the tragedy.

I just don't understand this! One of the very few things the federal government is supposed to do is protect our borders. They don't and we keep sending them our money.
The feds violate the 4th amendment for the average US citizen but don't dare profile based upon 30+ years of terrorism yet we keep sending them our money.
The USSC says private property can be transfered to another private developer if it will generate more revenue yet we keep sending them our money.
We no longer have a functioning 1st amendment because anything which may offend some defective low life spawn it is hate speech even if it is true yet we still send them our money.
If anyone is still reading this, where will we ever draw the line on this dysfunctional US government? If you wait until there is no more 2nd amendment it will be too late.

Can you imagine what would happen to American if they flooded Mexico and starting taking all of the Mexican jobs? There would be blood in the street....American blood. Politically correct liberalism has so infected the psyche of the American people that they are afraid to stand up and speak out when they see crimes committed by people who have no business even being in this country. American that are afraid to fight for their own jobs will eventually lose them to people who might be illiterate but are smart enough to realize that Americans aren't willing to fight for their own economic survival.
