Hi again!
I am so mad at this latest NYTimes strategy! Do you know anything about Mary Cunningham Agee?
She set up a group to help executive women with - er - unplanned pregnancies. People may laugh and say there's no reason for them to care, but believe me, having worked in that environment for awhile, they are under a lot of pressure and it takes a lot of courage not to have an abortion.
One of my black friends in management, btw, was pressured into having an abortion and said she found out about Mary Cunningham Agee's activities too late - my friend (who had the abortion before I met her) had no place to go because her family and her friends kept telling her to have an abortion, and she didn't want to go stay in a house with a group of 14/16 year old kids.
It wouldn't surprise me if this group has had to move out of the country.
I imagine the pressure is tough. On one hand, it means loss of a really good salary (six figures or more) and also means leaving the world of work and losing the upper hand. http://www.nurturingnetwork.org/bio.htm This is the first time I've heard of this woman but I love her already.
The fact that his children are adopted is going to be related to abortion in some way, I'm sure. But it can only make Roberts look good, which confuses me why the NYSlimes is bothering.
