While this is Leftist garbage it is still less dangerous than the "Theology of Liberation" stuff usually poured forth by the Methodist Board of Global Ministries. The UMs spend plenty in places like Central America and have no churches to show for it. The Jehovah's Witness and the Mormons have churches all over Central America while the UMs build Habitat houses or get involved in seminars on the poor.

We need a revolution within the Methodist Church. Our other choice is too jump ship to Independent Methodist Churches or some sort of Church that is not ashamed of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

There have been lots of books written about how socialists have a stranglehold on academia (at all levels)and government bureaucracies. Has anyone heard of any literature on lefty control of mainline protestant churches in north america? Must be something out there.

And they wonder why they're losing membership (and relevance).
