So anyway, whatever happened to that so-called "alternative to Rush Limbaugh" that was supposed to be such a big hit? I'm talking of course, about that pencil-neck geek called Al Franken. I still have yet to hear the show although supposedly it has found some sort of "niche" on the radio dial somewhere. Probably it's on that station that features "Prarie House Companion" which I actually heard once or twice. Now Prarie House Companion has to be the most awful show I have ever heard in my life. Is that supposed to be humorous or is it just some bad parody that didn't make it to Saturday Night Live?

That's Garrison Keillor, a self proclaimed liberal democrat. Those stories are uninteresting and pointless. Apparently all you need to be a liberal talk radio host is a mouth that works and an audience that doesn't.

You're wise to avoid it. I'd rather listen to Porkey Pig sing "Hey Jude" or Fran Drescher scream out the Sanskrit alphabet than be left alone in my car with him.
