Somebody needs to write a book about modern Texas Rancher style. A "Giant" for the new millenium.

Wish I could get an invite to the ranch.

I second that!! Just don't let it be Ollie Stone doing the writing.

Not bad, Nedra.
LOL from the article:
There are no horses on Bush's Prairie Chapel Ranch. He calls himself a "windshield rancher" and has delighted in giving VIPs a tour in his white pickup or on his John Deere Gator.
"Windshield rancher." LOL. I love my President.

Not too bad, especially for the AP. This is the first "Bush in Crawford" article I've seen that's not stuffed full of snide remarks and/or adolescent whining.

I love it when Dubya fires up his chainsaw and goes nucular on heavy brush.
Thanks for posting this article, Cecily. :-)

Ya gotta go a LONG way to beat a barbeque and a pick up truck. They're the best and Dubya knows how to use them. Bet the dem/dim/libs can't even boil water.

I assume this ranch has a prodigious guest house plus quarters for the SS, staff and comm center.
Where do the press reside? It's a one-light town of 700. Can't see it having a full service hotel. Car rentals, diners, restaurants, and such.
Anybody out there with any first-hand information?
I'd appreciate it.
