It breaks my heart to see our soldiers dying in Iraq. This war was wrong from the beginning. Months leading up to the war Bush would make daily speechs about Iraq's WMD. He sent Colin Powell with "hard numbers" on WMD to sell his war to the UN. The CIA was given deliberately false testimony on WMD per Colin Powells own admission. There were some people trying to tell the CIA prior to the war that there wasn't any WMD. Some top officials in the CIA stated that they don't care if there is any or not we're going to war.

If we are trying to fight terrorism why did we not go after Saudi Arabia where 18 of the 19 hijackers came from. Can someone tell me why we didn't lean on North Korea more for having an illegal nuclear weapon and being threatened by their dictator? Oh thats right, we can handle that crisis through "diplomatic" means.

Don't believe the horse crap about no WMD's in Iraq.

They were training for offensive use of chemical weapons and I've been inside some of their training facilities and seen the training material myself.

You're right. It's worth noting that the whole "weapons of mass destruction" argument was never really behind the war in Iraq to begin with -- it was part of a very transparent propaganda campaign to garner public support for the war.
