When a Freeper tries to justify the actions of this administration by claiming that something similar occurred "on Clinton's watch," then I think my cynicism is utterly vindicated.
It is the LACK OF ACTION during the Clinton Watch that we have all the problems that we have to face now. Thank God for George Bush! At least he has the backbone and the fortitude to do what is right. He does not care what the left and media think, he does what is right. Maybe if Clinton would have done his job instead of freeloading off of the American Taxpayer and getting his jollies in office, things would not have gotten to this point. But, again, he didn't think that we had any "CONTROLLING LEGAL AUTHORITY" to arrest BL.
I don't understand you...all of your arguments are made on the premise that the battle for Iraq was started in a vaccuum for no reason and with no history.
The stubborn fact is that the military survived without much support from the Clinton administration. They were underfunded and undermined by the Clinton Administration's non-response to Mogadishu, Embassy bombings, The USS Cole, just to name some.
