This is good news, though. I hope this is the beginning of Iran's revolution. The assassination of the judge who has sentenced some of the dissidents is a good sign, too.

I'ts been one hundred years since the close of World War I and the breakup of the Otterman Empire. The Kurds have been divided into three countries, Turkey, Iraq and Iran ever since. This may give you a little idea as to how long it will take the current situation there to heal over. One hundred years and the beat goes on.
