BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
DUers are very upset over 'theft', so much so, that Rove is not on front page. LOL Must be ln DSM land now.
Narrowly lost his bell weather election, uh, yeah, maybe by 2 to 1?
Notice how Hackett is not a "democrat" nominee, but an Iraq Veteran.
It's a joy to watch.
My entire life i've been a day late and a dollar short. At least I get to giggle before I hit the sack. :) thanks for the link
Ping! (About da guy we hoid Rush carry on about ad nauseam today.)
This will by spun by the party as a victory for the Dims.
I'm gratified to find that, once again, Americans are smart enough to see through the window dressing of the Leftists.
As an aside, I'm also glad that the Democrats painted Hackett's run as a bellwether. Now they have to live with that. Nyack!
No doubt...especially with the Leftist media acting as their water boy.
More like 52-48 and in a very Republican district at that. Hackett got a lot closer than most pundits expected, despite the RNC putting a lot of money into this race and saying they were going to "bury" him. We need to get focused on 2006 right now, because it's going to be a tough election cycle. We ignore this warning sign at our peril.
Don't you love it? I just happen to be listening to Rush 24/7 right now, picking up the parts I missed earlier. Considering this guy's past statements, it's amazing he had the nerve to even mention he served. I was finally able to watch the ad and had to call my son over to watch cause I couldn't believe the crap that was being shoveled - crap that he was too much of a coward to label as Democratic.
While all service is honorable, a caller said this guy's MOS had to do with public relations. If he's so proud of his service, why not mention exactly what he did over in Iraq?
I'm glad Ohioans weren't fooled.
No Democrats were present at today's special election, at least in terms of candidates.
Guess they wanted to extend the Kerry tradition of the patriotic traitor.
Your statement does not jibe with all the reports that have been posted.
As one example:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1455820/posts
And I quote:
"Republican Jean Schmidt won the Greater Cincinnati vote and narrowly defeated Democrat Paul Hackett in a race for Congress... |
"gratified that Americans are smart enough ..."
Uh, actually, if you compare Bush's 2004 vote in the district with Schmidt's today, there is a huge dropoff in terms of percentage. Winning a 64 percent pro-Bush district by 52 percent is nothing to be proud of. If that's all the "smart" people we have in what was a solidly GOP district, I hate to think what might be happening out there in America as a whole. I'm afraid the Michael Moore-MSM-Rat propaganda is a good deal more powerful than we would like to think.
People are saying Schmidt was a lousy candidate. Well, she was president of the Cincinnati-area Right to Life, so you'd think all those religious-right folks would have delivered for her. Apparently they either didn't try very hard, or weren't very effective. Not a good day for us.
