Trailers in California Trailer Parks cost $1 million

So wonderfully Californian, Marsha Weidman's home has it all--along the beach, far from noisy traffic, with a Jacuzzi used to watch sunsets over the Pacific.

For this, she and her husband recently paid $1.05 million.

For that, they got a trailer, built in 1971, without any land.

I'll have to try their baklava, I haven't had any of that taste of heaven for years! I will try the olive oil too, and see what MY half Italian husband thinks of it. :^)

Some friends moved out to the "inland empire" several years ago because the home prices were good, and they have since moved back because they couldn't stand the heat and the mess it has become out there. Redondo is still a great little beach city, we go there often.

I used to do that, when he was a baby...people would ask for my pics. I'd take out The One that I had...they asked where the rest were. Sheesh, I said, look at this child...WHY do you need more proof than this?

"That's Du-MAY" sounded equally pretentious. It's been 'Point Dume' 'Dume Drive', 'Kanan Dume Road', etc (all pronounced 'Doom') for the 40 + years I've ever heard anyone pronounce it.

Or, like a gal whose husband we had as a patient. Every time she said (as often as possible) her name, it was "I'm Mrs. _____, as in _____ Cadillac-Volkswagen...we OWN it."

Whatever their names are, they sound like they need a hatpin to help deflate them, like heifers suffering bloat.
