I hope he's doing everything legal while he does this travelling. I'm not in any way suggesting he isn't, but you know his enemies will look for anything to bring him down.
I'm currently working on a "Rumsfeld/Tancredo/'08" bumper sticker.

I thought of bombing Mecca as one of our targets in this fight when we first went over there. I take it we can't do that?!

Tancredo is a bomb thrower, and does not have the communication discipline to sniff the Presidency, much lesss the Republican nomination. I lost respect for him with the "nuke Muslim cities" comment. It is unhelpful and silly.

Tancredo's Mecca statement considered along with the factual background as it emerges from the London Bombings raise a question which hasn't been answered to my satisfaction. By operating in cell under the semi-direction of Al Queda, the terrorists give the nations that support them an out publicly. There can be no doubt that Pakistan is behind the London bombings. No, not the head of the government but enough of the power structure so as to make little difference. The Pakistanis allow enough of the terrorist element to operate so as not to get removed, at least to this point in time.
My question, of course, is what can our response be if we are hit by a terrorist attack involving substantial loss of life and Dr. Khan or the Madrassas of Pakistan are shown to have been involved. How would we sell a major retaliation to the world that does not even understand Afghanistan or Iraq. Glib answers (Bomb the B@stards) seem satisfying but they don't work when there are 1.3 billion Muslims, 2/3's of who would cheer a nuclear terrorist attack on America.

I think Tancredo is a day late and a dollar short. CAFTA has been passed by the traitors we sent to Congress - so what is Tancredo going to do to stop the Central American scum from coming to our town and starting a cat house next door? If either of us complains we will be taken to court for inhibiting the free flows of persons, goods and services.

American strategies on combating terrorism and illegal alien immigration:
#1 - SHOOT THE MESSENGER
#2 - (if #1 missed) Claim the problems are too big for the gubmint to handle - OFFER TERMS OF SURRENDER
============================
Some critics have demanded an apology or called for Tancredo to resign from Congress. Tancredo has dismissed those calls and defended his comments to a Florida radio talk show host last month, saying he was merely thinking out loud about ways to deter a future terrorist attack.

At least Tancredo has read the Constitution.
U.S. Constitution Article 4 Section 4:"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"
Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.

He was right, and he should NOT apologize. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are scared to death of this man, so discrediting him will be a bipartisan effort to keep their war chests full of corporate $$ by silencing him.,
Who has ever fought AND WON a politically correct war (oh yea thats right as of last week it is a "struggle" NOT A WAR :)

Tancredo said what many of us were thinking. We stand by and watch the terror attacks on innocent people, afraid that we're going to be next because of our open borders, and we realize that these terrorists are crazy, yet we're not supposed to think of revenge?
