I hope everyone got out. Air France Flight 358. Confirmed by Pearson Airport officials.
If the plane went into that ravine evacuation would have been a challenge. Plus, plane would have been at full rotation speed. Not good.

Correction (sorry...info changing with very fluid situation). Spokesman on air says Air France landing.
Probably A340 Airbus.

I wonder if Toronto was its final scheduled destiination, or if it was continuing on here? Toronto is one of our immigration preclearance airports...
