Gardner called to appear before the judge tomorrow per Greta. This is going to be a public relations nightmare for Aruba..the gardener's friend just said the gardener called Police the same day he sae the vehicle and asked the landfill operator not to cover up the area..the Police never responded and he called back again and again...match that with the plate possibly belonging to a Police Officer(who?) and it looks bad...
At least the Arubans take immigration seriously if not murder kidnap and rape...

I wondered about the lic# story when I first heard it. Now I'm wondering even more. Supposedly the gardner works for the Lady that owns the other big newspaper in town. She (can't remember her name) is good friends with the former police chief, the friend of PVDS. This case is too bizarre for words. I don't know what to think. As far as the gardner working for the Aruba newspaper reporter that has not been confirmed. Although I'm sure that the gardner worked for many people including Jossy Mansur.

I wish I had a link to the license story... darn.. I just knew one of you guys had read it too, but was surprised that no one seemed upset about it.
I probably read it on SM, but not sure???

The gardener is the one who saw the suspects near the Racquet Club. A different witness saw them at the landfill.

And Natalee's relatives say that Paulus denied having made the comment in the meeting outside the jail house.

That was not the gardner's friend, that was the landfill witness's friend. Different witnesses.

I don't remember hearing that before, but I haven't spent much time over at SM lately. It would be good to see a link that verifies that though. That would be very, very interesting.

You're probably right TexKat about him working for Jossy too. This is getting so insane. Beth must go nuts with all the different stories.
I hope someone else can remember seeing the lic# story, besides me. I'll try to find it.
To: Pepper777
I did see it Pepper777 and I do believe it was on SM.

Ahhhh, thanks.
I dunno, but maybe PVDS was a judge in training in order to be of service to a certain group: there already was a police chief in place, who knows how many others (if you buy this theory) and then young hotshot Joran, with his unlimited gambling and roofer profile went and blew papa's role.
Thus, the profuse waterworks from papa's forehead. I've always said follow the money, and it just may be that the cocky kid, who thought he could do no wrong may get away with this. However, papa may go down in a major way.

Well it is just wonderful to see how diligent the ALE are. I mean if anyone should ever question their attention to the finer details of the law, this should prove that they know how to get down to brass tacks.
Ok, I don't think the guy is that great, but give me a %&CKing break. This is what they choose to devote their time to?
What about papa VDS interfering with the case? What about a proper search? I could go on singing...

If anything would pull a tennis shoe off of a foot, moving around in concrete would. True.
But I have been wondering why the tennis shoe had to be pulled off.
Could Joran have been carrying his shoes and dropped one or both? We have heard that it was only one of the tennis shoes, then we heard that they were looking for both of the shoes.
Who knows we may see some sharkskin K-Swiss tennis shoes in the near future.
