This is pure BS. We have sea turtle nests on the coast of NC and I see everyone respecting them. There are even volunteers who mark them so they are not accidentally disturbed. So give me a break!
I think that is the bruise that his lawyer is denying.
Thanks WKB.
I guess the genius polis didn't think of photographing the mark just like they didn't think of going over the Kalpoe car for forensic evidence.
Arlene keeps referring to Aruba as a sovereign nation. Is this true? Are they a sovereign nation or is Aruba Dutch protectorate?
That seems like some lawyer from Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin islands saying, "But we are a sovereign nation."
Anyone? Anyone?
TAW
Aruba is probably both...a sovereign nation and a Dutch protectorate. Meaning that as a sovereign nation they can also elect to NOT be a protectorate. But then I'm just guessing and have no background in this area.
Coming up next.
I think that it is highly doubtful that she was taken in a "slave" ring scenario. There are probably plenty of "less attached" prospects for that sort of activity.
My guess is raped on the beach, killed (accidental or otherwise), thrown in a boat and/or tied to the back of a boat and/or jet ski, taken a few miles out and dumped.
JMHO.
Beth: Its not new info. When she was looking back her notes everything that the 3 suspects have fallen apart. Now that she has talked with the other MB students she knows that Natalee thought that she was getting into a cab. She knows just how the 3 suspects got Natalee out of C&C. Beth states that she knows this definitively. Dan asked Beth is this from her piecing things together from her notes and talking with the MB students. Beth's reply was yes. It came to her clearly during the 48/72 hours. Beth states she discovered several other details but stated that she said enough for now. Beth stated she will stay in Aruba for as long as it takes. Right now the clock is ticking for September 4th but the clock is also ticking for Natalee to be found.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful responses.
While I agree 100% with justche that what goes around, comes around (#582), cajungirl's point that justice embraces society as a whole, and must be served, is also important.
When does justice become vengeance?
Being on foreign soil, with little chance of American justice, is very frustrating.
I thought of this today:
"If the truth, in itself, were your "Pearl of Great Price,"
could you sacrifice vengeance,
and never think twice?"
Coast to Coast radio program recieved an email approx one month ago, that said Natalee was being held *alive* in a crawl space. George Noory, the host, read it and said he didn't know what to do with the email. I hope he turned it over to the FBI or someone who checked it out.
I wonder if some how they can locate the pill supplier and get him to confirm that Joran bought date rape pills.
I sure hope he did. I can't help thinking about some of the nuts that call into that show, you know, all the doom & gloomer's.
I think Justice is vengence in a civil society. It is an advance upon plain ole vengence. And a replacement.
Kalpoe Bro's per chance???
Can you explain?
Well, when a wrong is committed against someone, there is a human response, to avenge that wrong. The law does that and it is done fairly, reasonably and according to law with penalties for the wrong after it is established. This is how we vent and express our need for vengence. We let the law do it.
With no law, the only law is that of the jungle and vengence is the answer to wrongs committed against a person or his family or his property.
WE don't seek vengence usually, even when we wish it. We rely on the law.
