" "Another rumor out of the way."

I think the uncle is just out of the loop on this. Jug has said many times that the so-called judge did in fact say "no body, no crime". Jug heard him say it first-hand. It is not a rumor.

TexKat -

Interesting! I've got to run but I'll chew on your post for a while.

Here you go. I forgot to mention that I couldn't open TK's link. Scroll down about halfway until you see Jossy's face and header "JVDS has history..."

I did not provide a link. I posted the url to that site due to the message they have on the site requesting not to hot link to their site.

NH must have left the island on her own? Because they've found nothing?

Well, they did find her passport -- in her hotel room. Why would Natalee voluntarily leave the island without her passport?

"Perhaps the best thing that could come out of this mess is that the people of Aruba realize that visitors do not like to be preyed upon. This whole episode has called attention to the lack of security at many vacation spots. Americans who feel unsafe will go to another vacation spot whether it is an island or a cruise ship."

Actually, corruption and crime run rampant in all of the islands of the Caribbean. Never been there and never wish to go. The few times I have gone on vacation has been within the continental United States, Hawaii and Europe. I wouldn't dare set foot on alien, unwelcome territories such as those miserable, unfriendly islands. Those insignificant islands view us, America, as their enemy and harbor hatred and rancor toward us.

Going to the Caribbean is synonymous with going through Dante's hell. Hope they maintain their status quo.

"Heck! Jossy found the gardener who seems very credible. Also, he brought us the story of the confession and also the fingering of Deepak. Why is everyone so down on him? I believe that the Aruban police are mostly to blame as they seem way over their heads on this one, a sentiment that has been expressed multiple times."

Hmm, the gardener story is not corroborated. It will be his word against theirs. Unless something else turns up that's all there is. The 'confession' wasn't news because it was reported on 06/11/05. Everyone had heard it. He is just reminding everyone that we heard it. As far as Joran fingering Deepak, others being interviewed on the MSM shows are saying that Joran said "For all I know Deepak" did this or that. That's not really fingering anyone. But, Jossy is the only one saying that Joran implicated Deepak in such a way that it was solid information. Well, Deepak is not in jail. Joran's statement didn't keep him there. So, it sounds like Jossy is forgetting part of the statement when he talks about it on TV.

I'm not any more 'down' on Josy than I am on the Aruban investigators. The dropped the ball big time in this case. Was it intentional or was it by design? We may never know but we all will have our own opinions about that.

Joran. If the hotel/casino crowd is involved they are not going to go down. If Americans will not give up, someone has to take the fall. (light the fires)

"Jossy Mansur confirms that Joran van der Sloot has a history on the island of drinking, gambling, and most importantly SLIPPING PILLS INTO GIRLS’ DRINKS"

And how exactly does he know this?

Jossy Mansur is not to be believed. The last time I was at his Diario site (about a week ago) there was a breaking news that Nat's body had been found. Very unprofessional conduct.

Betty Boop,

Well, the best I can figure using that officer's logic is that Natalee had a life-long dream of becoming an illegal immigrant./sarcasm

good question but I think he is kind of cute - not handsome and enticing like Charles Croes - but uncle type cute...and remember he is not DUTCH, for what that's worth. At a minimum, I find him entertaining.

I wonder about you at times! ;)

Actually words control over looks, and in your words I can see what you "see" in Joran.

This doesn't relate to Jossy but it does give one an idea of the influence of the Mansur family on Aruba. They owned the original cigarette company on the island. Cigarettes are an excellent tool for laundering drug cash.

Discussion of some Mansur family activities

When I get some time I will continue to look for the source re: ownership of hotels.

Here is a schematic that shows how the drug biz operates. Aruba is a free trade zone and that is its role in the back flow of goods resulting from the drug trade. What this schematic doesn't show is the physical transit of drugs from S.A. via Aruba to America and Europe...but the CIA states Aruba is an important drug transit point. "Trade goods" (as a category) includes electrical appliance as well as cigarettes/tobacco and liquor.

"I certainly wouldn't post hundreds of posts on useless threads like this like so many have"

How many useless posts would a useless poster post if a useless poster could post useless posts?

I ask you, BTS.

Absolutely!

They may even pay him for time served. If Jurine takes a fall to help more powerful people who raped and killed Nat, this whole thing might be a career boost for him and PVDS (particularly if they would like a career in crime).

From Hyscience:

Tuesday Evening Natalee Holloway Updates - August 02, 2005

10:55 HarryTho comments and news updates:

The pond, at its deepest part right now, is only three feet deep. The egrets have it under control. An egret could stand on Natalee's body, if the body were in the very deepest part of the pond. I vote that Natalee is alive but not on the island. The only chance of death is what Mickey John reported in a Greta interview while expressing what to do with the police who arrested him: "throw them into fire ... volcano fire" ... let them disappear into the fire. That would mean the molten bath at the metal foundry on the island. If someone killed Natalee, in my opinion with the traceless situation that currently faces us, it was Mickey John and some of his friends. But, I hold to kidnapping into white slave trade as the reason for Natalee's disappearance.

On another note, Hannity of Fox News quizzed Paul Reynolds how he knew about the alleged confession Joran made. Paul essentially cited old Mansur lore. It would appear that there never was a confession of any type from Joran or anyone else.

I've been lurking and haven't posted much since the election, but I am very, very interested in this case since I also live in Birmingham.

My husband sent this link to me by a "journalist" in San Diego regarding Natalee. This "journalist" obviously has no heart and I emailed him and told him to just SWITCH CHANNELS."

Just to pique your interest, he says that the family cries on cue and that Natalee was dressed like a slut....
