Greta isn't Dutch Froufrou!! I remember her mentioning it a few weeks back. Dutch name but NOT dutch.
While I might agree that her death was not planned beforehand, I believe her abduction and rape (and gang rape) could have been. That is why the young criminals did not feel they could just go to authorities and say, "What a terrible accident!" She may have had too much evidence from too many men.
Very plausible.
Honest to God, Van der Sloot looks like a real twit on the dance floor. Was he trying to be a monkey? Banana please!! LOL What a kazoo.
Thanks, I saw it in the Statesman Journal too. I do think this ties in to the people who want to make an issue of Natalee drinking. Bad things happen--whether you're in another country having fun which included alcohol, or whether you're in a sleepy little college town in Oregon in the middle of the day--in a parking lot of an apartment complex. I know this is off topic and I won't keep posting on it!
Accidental or on purpose,
haunting questions still usurp us...
wild goose chase,
vacant clues,
anything to make the news.
All we really want to see
is proof of, truth of, Natalee.
Somewhere, someone has to know
where she is or where'd she go.
If Joran could prove her whereabouts,
beyond a single shade of doubt,
could you approve him getting out?
All of your 'what if' theories, still puts the blame on the boys. They still caused each scenario to happen.
I might be missing the point...but is there a scenario that doesn't involve the 'boys'?
You missed my point. I was commenting on the fact that every scenario txrangerette mentioned, still led to the boys.
but is there a scenario that doesn't involve the 'boys'?
I've read that there is, but I'm not going to search for the info.
Why is Joran in jail while the others run free?
Oops. I forgot to include you.
I have no idea why the Kalpoe brother's were let go. It makes no sense to me at all.
And with that, I need a little sleep!
I have been thinking about this since you posted it.
And your incredible stupidity adds nothing to the thread.
I'm doin fine and thanks for askin.
What evidence does the Aruban LE have at this point? To our knowledge there isn't any physical evidence so whether this crime happened in the US or Aruba, it is going to be a very difficult and complicated case to prosecute. There isn't even a body. I think it is pretty incriminating that Joran is still being held, so how do you know that the information Beth or anyone else has gathered has been dismissed and isn't working. As to dismissing Beth, she has been desperate and frantic to keep this case alive, as any mother would, but sometimes emotions can muddy the water.
Last nights interviews on Greta showed the determination that Dave Holloway and his sister Linda have to find his daughter.
I cant imagine having a woman at that horrid landfill. Or Dave for that matter, yet they are out in that hot heat in a stinking place that even trained people from equisearch can barely tolerate.
They are fantastic, to be out there showing what strength, love and determination they have to find Dave's Daughter. God bless Linda and Dave. Linda's been out there every day, she was at the beach during that barrel incident, and now at the landfill. I pray they find peace of mind and soon. Unsung hero's!
"Unsung hero's!"
That's for sure!'
As to dismissing Beth, she has been desperate and frantic to keep this case alive, as any mother would, but sometimes emotions can muddy the water.
I really doubt that anyone 'dismisses' Beth's observations. But most would agree that her view is a 'subjective' one--which is what I think you're saying.
"Dismiss" was not the term I used, it was a misintrepation by another poster. But you nailed it with the the fact that her view is "subjective."
[Interviewer]: Your father was a circuit court judge in Appleton, but give me a little bit more of the Van Susteren family history. It sounds like a good Dutch/Fox Valley name
[Greta]: My father was one of 13 children. He grew up in Little Chute, Wisconsin. His father was Dutch but I know very little about him (he died in the 1940's). His Mother was French and German. Of course, the Little Chute area is very Dutch. In fact, growing up in Appleton, just 3 miles from Little Chute, it seemed like everyone in my class had a last name that began with "Van." I must add that my Mother, who grew up in New York, was 100% Irish.
